Ryan Husbands if you have the 8700k don’t bother. Pretty much the same. If your upgrading from something older then the 9700k would be great if your just gaming since it has no hyper threading. If you want to game/stream 8700k or the more expensive 9900k would be a good choice

Dont get the 9700k it has all the same overclocking capabilities as the 8700k except it has hyperthreading disabled on the 9700k where as it is enabled on the 8700k

On my system, my M2 SSD has six times faster sequential read than my SATA SSD. While it's very possible the SATA drive has slower SSD memory, I doubt it's six times slower. So I suspect the difference is SATA vs PCIe data rate. I did watch the video, and I agree the game load time difference between the Kingston SATA SSD and the Samsung M2 SSD were quite close. But M2 seems cheap enough. I bought a 500 GB WD Black SSD M2 last week for $120. So in a high end gaming build, why not go with the theoretically faster option if the price is about the same?

You can OC on a 280 and prob get better temps....I kept asking 280 or 360 and the 280 does better 98% of the time and I have a 8600 @5.2 now no Issues
