God bless you for using BG3 to show the integrated gpu framerates. So many other reviewers always use first person shooters... of which I have none. I was amazed at the framerates you were getting with the 125H. I just ordered a couple of days ago a Ideapad 5 Pro with the higher 155H processor for my wife. Nice! The 155h performs better, I tested it recently and have a 185h coming I will also test. The 155h and 185 iGPU will be very close and both outperform the 125h… you will love the 155h laptop 🫡 And yes. Stealing her laptop to play baldurs gate 3 is the right choice. I had chance to look at an Ideapad Pro 5i at a B&H store. The laptop looks and feels really solid. But the Yoga 7i feels more premium in the midrange. Hopefully, the Intel Meteor Lake will be in the Yoga lineup.

Wow! Great review as usual. Unfortunately looks like the fan noise is very noticeable right? I hear all the time the fan noise in background when running benchmarks and games... Looks like thinkad e14 and e16 are much quieter.

I bought amd 7840hs model with 32gb ram, still waiting for delivery, excited tho. Added 6gb 3060 nvidia gpu just in case i need it for moderate gaming or data analysis. Hope it doesnt have crazy fan noise 😂

hi, ive read somewhere thst the intel arc graphics requires a device with 16gb but with dual channel RAMs, but i noticed most newer lenovo laptop are only having single rams, not dual channel. will this affect the overall graphic performance of arc graphics if you only have the single channel 16gb lpddr5x rams?

To be honest, evo certification means nothing. I’ve had evo laptops with horrendous battery life and those without much better It’s just a marketing ploy. Ignore it

Ideapad is all metal and superior in terms of being “premium” e16 is a bit thicker. Both cool well and perform well. E16 are a good price and have thinkpad rugeddness. If you need something rugged get the thinkpad. Otherwise get the Ideapad

Yes there is still a big gap between a 4050 and the best AMD or Intel have to offer in iGPU. These integrated graphics are amazing, but they aren’t going to live up to a current GEN dedicated offering realistically
