Amazing that after 2 years Fimi still has "beta" on Smart Tracking in the app. It's not perfect, but yep, they put some work in. Ordered a standard battery X8 Mini a few hours ago. That thing is drawing down on the Mini 2.

I discovered the SAR zoom stays when you switch out of it completely by accident on Saturday, but thought nothing more about it. Leave it to you to use it intentionally to capture. That creative use of the tech is your touchstone. Thanks! Note: Amazon has an Aluminum case, 2 spare 4500 mAh batteries and a 6 way intelligent charger, usually about $200. Best accessory set I ever bought for any drone. Love charging 4 batteries (full or storage charge) controller & phone with case to hold it all.

I have the 2018 the 2020 and am waiting for the mini. Fimi drones are amazing beasts, as long as you are not dependant on obsticle avoidance. By the way $4.00 buys you a good gimbal cover from Aliexpress.
