That's shared between system and graphics, you kinda need the 32GB one as I consider 16GB to be the minimum these days for system on Windows.

I'm not sure there's much difference between the hypothetical 6-but-actually-24 "huge" cores versus just having 24 "E" cores. Especially if we accidentally find a way to do the opposite, and let multiple E cores behave as singular giant cores.

The core ultra 7 155h has 22 threads with 3 different types of cores. lunar lake skus of the same tier cap out at 8 threads with p cores and low power e cores... not sure how to feel about that. No doubt it'll be more efficient but how will multithreaded performance be affected by this... limiting choice of core config

Arrow Lake is launching pretty much the same time, but the amount of information about it coming from intel is like 20 times smaller than the amount of information about Lunar Lake, why is that?

Intel made the same claim when Meteor lake launched which performance better than AMD, especially on gaming around 15% faster, however the truth is Intel has no match on that. Will the same story happen again?

This is a great product. It would have been even better with integrated Thunderbolt 5. Shame Intel sold their 5G because integrating that would also be huge. Curious what the next product with memory on package will be. Make sure it has integrated Thunderbolt 5. x86 is back!

@@lesterjadeuntal931 Thunderbolt 4 has been integrated since the release in 2020 with 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake and every other Generation after that. Since the release on Thunderbolt 5 in late 2023, we have had the release of Intel Core Ultra Series (100 and 200) Meteor Lake and now Lunar Lake, both without Thunderbolt 5 integrated.

Y'all lost me with integrated memory. CAMM doesn't yet hit those speeds, but is better than so-dimm while still allowing replaceable/upgradable memory. Then again, you may still get my money on a discrete Battlemage GPU for my media server if the power draw is in check this time around. While I am disappointed in this, I will still give Intel credit for their Quick-Sync support and having some of the best encoder/decoder quality and support in that segment

I feel like integrated memory can be justified for this sort of low-power chips, as long as they're actually efficient and using high-bandwidth memory that may take a while to appear on CAMM2. Guess we'll see: if they keep it for higher-power chips or make something like in-package DDR5-6400 then that'll be a huge disappointment.

Integrated memory is cheaper and has a lower power draw, for most consumers it’s an obvious choice. Arrow Lake still has upgradable memory

Intel just separated the power delivery of the P and E cores.They can completely turn off the P core. Simply its work on the E core for daily bases, but its going to slow as f*k. If you want to fast as Macbook ,power consumption is going to skyrocket, efficiency sucks as usal can't compete with M3 and X Elite. Plus, Intel uses his RAM because that's the only thing they can improve efficacy, but it's going to be costly as f*K.

They already completely fixed that issue with BIOS updates, warranty extended from 3 to 5 years for anyone that is concerned. Intel handled it well once the issue was found.
