That's shared between system and graphics, you kinda need the 32GB one as I consider 16GB to be the minimum these days for system on Windows.

I'm not sure there's much difference between the hypothetical 6-but-actually-24 "huge" cores versus just having 24 "E" cores. Especially if we accidentally find a way to do the opposite, and let multiple E cores behave as singular giant cores.

10:37 Why is a "9" denoted by an "8", a "7" denoted by a "6" or "5", and a "5" denoted by a "3" or a "2"? Who decided on this confusing and nonsensical numbering scheme? Why can't we just have "9" means "9", "7" means "7" and "5" means "5"?

The core ultra 7 155h has 22 threads with 3 different types of cores. lunar lake skus of the same tier cap out at 8 threads with p cores and low power e cores... not sure how to feel about that. No doubt it'll be more efficient but how will multithreaded performance be affected by this... limiting choice of core config

Y'all lost me with integrated memory. CAMM doesn't yet hit those speeds, but is better than so-dimm while still allowing replaceable/upgradable memory. Then again, you may still get my money on a discrete Battlemage GPU for my media server if the power draw is in check this time around. While I am disappointed in this, I will still give Intel credit for their Quick-Sync support and having some of the best encoder/decoder quality and support in that segment
@J_Echoes
@J_Echoes 2 ай бұрын
I feel like integrated memory can be justified for this sort of low-power chips, as long as they're actually efficient and using high-bandwidth memory that may take a while to appear on CAMM2. Guess we'll see: if they keep it for higher-power chips or make something like in-package DDR5-6400 then that'll be a huge disappointment.

Intel just separated the power delivery of the P and E cores.They can completely turn off the P core. Simply its work on the E core for daily bases, but its going to slow as f*k. If you want to fast as Macbook ,power consumption is going to skyrocket, efficiency sucks as usal can't compete with M3 and X Elite. Plus, Intel uses his RAM because that's the only thing they can improve efficacy, but it's going to be costly as f*K.
