Captain Chris Kahler 1988 Welcraft V20 Honda BF150. We where coming into the inlet and saw a boat get turned very hard and almost flip in the wave. When righted himself we started to come in and heard the call for dog in water. We looked for the dog and you see me come in just as the dog was floating out to sea in the rip. Glad everything worked out for the best

Man. The guys in that wellcraft are absolute heroes!!! You guys are awesome. Although I have never met Bear he seems like my kinda dude and one bad ass fisherman/waterman. It's a good teaching point that anything can happen to anyone!!! Good job boys!! Thank god Angler is back with his poppas (both Bear and his real dad Sam I believe).

For the life of me, I can't see why anyone would take a dog out in the ocean without a life jacket (especially in rough water). Very reckless. Can you imagine if they could not locate him or her in the rough seas and the dog could no longer swim and stay afloat?

I totally agree with u, animals are precious, my dogs all wear their lifevest, even in the calmest seas. Please it takes a quick moment to provide them with safety too. 🐕🇦🇺🌈

The dog would swim literally everyday and run with my dad, so its safe to say he was trained for that

@@griffinlarr4415 won’t help the dog if he tires out or swept by a large wave and no one can find him in those rough seas. No reason not to put on a $30 dog life jacket in those conditions.
