Thank you I appreciate that! I’m just now really trying to make serious videos for the past few months vs my first vids I used to do. 🙏

I bet the Master of even the T4 would probably eat this trail much better. Great video!
@wattssingletrack88742 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah they would! I’d probably pick the t4 for this particular one as it’s a fairly low speed (sub 35mph) trail

Thnxs man! Really appreciate that your enjoying them. I’m trying to start making tips and tricks about trail riding vids more often, trying to inspire others to get out and shred the dirt!

I would love to make the drive up there to hang with you for a day. there is one other guy down here in SoCal that can keep up also. might be fun to get together a couple times before we all head to Arkansas in September.

That was great. Thanks for the format: Thoughtful dialogue, fantastic riding. Also a lot of nice editing, and nice angle of camera.

Another great video Chance. It's great hearing your breakdown of the trail and the riders thought workflow. I couldn't agree more when saying that "gassing it" over a challenging spot is almost always better than slowing down. I like to think of it like we have limited bandwidth for our riding thoughts, and overthinking it (or little chasing dogs) can take away too much and we end up crashing as a result. Thanks again for sharing this.

You need an EXN HT for your arsenal! Has all the range but less weight than the commander pro!!

Absolutely not lol why would I want a plastic shelled 100v wheel with no suspension 😅 I’d never buy a solid axle again
@RayArmstrong-fl2lf Жыл бұрын
You sure did love that RS. So I thought solid axel had a place in your heart
@RayArmstrong-fl2lf Жыл бұрын
@wattssingletrack8874 it's 100V that goes farther than all the other wheels, weighs less, and is faster 😆 js

Dude! I'm exhausted just from watching! 😂 i'm 57 and on my eighth day of learning. I am hell-bent on getting good at this. All my friends think I'm an idiot. Screw them!

Never to old to ride eucs Iv got a few friends in their 50’s who ride trails faster than most young people !!

1st rule: You are going to fall. Embrace it, but don't try to tank with your face. 2nd rule: Use coca*ne or meth, it inhibits pain. 3rd: Don't follow rule #2 or you will die as a sad junkie.

If you have not crashed you are doing it wrong :D Good to hear thoughts on trails. Lots of people posting vids of them riding around with nothing else, I mean, you can just carry a mirror while riding lol. Would be nice to see a video with full breakdown on the gear, why the specific pieces and good alternatives, also on viable euc for proper trails.

Ok ya I can try to make something like that no problem.

what is the name of the bicycle and rider connection belt??

It’s a bike tow rope. And the wheel is an begode rs19 high torque

Subscribed. I really want to get into this sport. Was between an ebike or this. Have unicycle (non-electric lol) and xc mountain bike experience. Any recommendations for a bigger rider? 6'2" 260lbs. My riding weight will be more like 200lbs after I lost a few. There are so many options out there. I think suspension is the way to go as i'm 40 and have some nerve pain. Any recommendations?

I should add, I'm looking to do fire road riding and smooth single track (not like this lol)

Well only 2 suspension wheels that are really worth a damn are KingSong s22 which I have a review video on and the begode Master which Iv got 2 review videos on my channel. Recommend watching them and hopfully they can help you in your decision. Personally I’d go master vs s22 but they each have their quirks and flaws vs each other

Hey where do you buy the teather strap at that you use ?
@wattssingletrack88742 жыл бұрын
Look up “cibi bike tow rope” on Amazon. They go out of stock fast so gotta recheck semi frequently

wait, will the tether hold your lift sensor or what? or do you have it off and just let it spin?
@wattssingletrack88742 жыл бұрын
Lift sensor can NOT be engaged if moving over 1mph so it isn’t an issue but no lift switch still works like normal

@wattssingletrack88742 жыл бұрын
Rs ht. And I run about 40 psi on trails

Nice riding and keeping control over the rough downhill terrain! during the crash did you hit your helmet on the ground? I am still debating with myself to get a full face, because most of the time we bail pretty safely but its kinda for that one day! The tether saved your riding day.
@wattssingletrack88742 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah i smacked the front chin bar and visor of my helmet pretty hard, I 100% recommend a fullface. I use the iXS trigger super light helmet. And yea tether saved more than just that day a wreck like that can total a wheel
@privileguan91272 жыл бұрын
The only question worth asking here is: How much do you value having a jaw? Just get a full face helmet, silly.
@wattssingletrack88742 жыл бұрын
@@privileguan9127 haha I hope your kidding bro this is a fullface helmet with a built in rebar style cage in the jaw structure. The ixs trigger is a very well known helmet.

What’s the average amount of miles you do on a trail? I’m contemplating on getting an RS Resolute vs the RS HT. Also, why not use a Suspension wheel? Is it due to the lack of torque or weight the current suspension wheels have?
@wattssingletrack88742 жыл бұрын
I do about 25-35 miles on ride really depends what I ride. And the reason no suspension wheel is so far they’ve all been too problematic for a trail wheel and have issues. The rst is a simple reliable and effective wheel for me.
