Did you notice how frustratingly slowly the back door lowers on the APC? If that was an M-113 I know a Hack that fixes that. You don’t close the door automatically. You get 3-4 guys and lift the 400 lb door till it closes. CLICK! Then the section piles in through the top hatch. Off To Objective!! Time to dismount. Driver hits hatch release. The fear the Russian unit felt, if they lived long enough, seeing a fairly large trench clearing team. If the Ukrainians allowed them they should just surrender immediately. They were outnumbered, surrounded on all sides and the Ukrainians were just pushed them to the center of the battle are. Resistance was futile.

I've watched quite a few video's from 3rd brigade where they are doing exactly that, shouting to the russians to surrender and come out, the usual response is gunfire, which leads to grenades being used in place of words. Not sure what the russian troops have been told to expect but they mostly seem hell bent on dying in their holes, like rats.

One thing I don't understand is why is the sound of the rife shots sound so muffled??.. When you shoot a rifle there's a really loud bang that makes your ears ring if you're not wearing hearing protection.

gopro mic's are different with each model however, with how loud a gunshot is the more fighting you record with that camera the more damage the mic could sustain, after a while your mic is completely blown out and you don't pick up any audio. tbf that'll happen to any mic depending on how it's used and what it is being used to record. plus the older gopro's have always sounded like that & different brands of action cams have varying microphone qualities. I think the protective mounting case also messes with the audio as well iirc or at least it used to, regardless, the mic on most if not all action cam's are setup to equalize everything as best as possible & I think that's what you're hearing here, a damaged mic has a very distinct sound that just isn't present in any of these recordings.

OK, that makes sense, the mic.'s all have sound filters like a sound governor limiting the sound level..similar to a speed governor in a rental moving van etc. I know firearms very well for most of my 68 yo life and they are very loud with an echo. I've watched lots of videos of this war with lots of different guns shooting and they all sound the same not a loud noise and no echo. sounds like a nail gun or something. Almost all the different guns filmed shooting don't have noise suppression of any kind...Thanks for your reply Alex...

Most of the drones, especially civilian ones carry videosignal on a n open channel. Its possible to watch the same video feed as the operators of that drone. There are also ways to interfere with the drone whilst still in air and its possible to locate the operators signal origin.
