Mr. Resetti isn’t too fond of resets… but what if the game gives us no choice? Today we intentionally find a bunch of crashes and softlocks that force you to reset in the original Animal Crossing.

There are some facts here that have been mentioned on this channel before, but I wanted to compile all the "forced-resets" into one video. Hopefully there's still some new information for you all in this video! Rest assured there are still plenty of new discoveries and obscure information to cover in the future, and I am putting substantial effort into covering those topics with longer, in-depth videos with increased production quality. A few major topics I've teased in the past are finally coming to fruition in the editing stage! Hope you look forward to it! 🤫

They could've used that blank Legend of Zelda NES furniture item as a way to add in The Lost Levels, as it was gonna be in the Japanese version but it didn't make the cut. Since the FDS BIOS is present on the disc, The Lost Levels can run in the game, so they missed that opportunity to fix that.

Worth noting that while they both were functional, neither Legend of Zelda item was legitimately obtainable in Doubutsu no Mori+. As for the second one, you didn't show it, but the row above A (actually hacking yourself onto the cliff on the top) actually does work in the map and registers as row Q with proper numbers.
