I threw on an awesome inter cooler res delete from 6th Element Engineering!

Pro tip from someone who's run 30+ psi in a sub 1.8L car. Strong hairspray on your intercooler piping joints will almost 100% stop them from coming off. Ever.

Bro I NEEDED THIS!! I got an axelback exhaust on my elantra and the piping in the intercooler kept coming off. I kept hearing an air sucking noise. Put it on the ramp and saw the pipe came loose. I will try this tonight

I recently installed this identical part on my 2017 Elantra Sport. I've noticed a definite increase in both the mid-high RPM range. The car is a tiny bit louder as well.

Thanks for the vid. I keep forgetting to do this super cheap mod! Did you turn off the stupid active sound design? I haven't yet but I've heard it makes the VT so quiet! The Ingen intake makes it so loud anyway you don't need any sounds coming through the stereo.

Don’t forget to reset that ECU by disconnecting the negative terminal for 15-20 minutes or while you’re working!!

Doesn't go on exhaust..it's for the intercooler piping. Sxth element has them

Yeah because this is after the air been thru the intake..on a turbo charged car the air intake sucks air into the turbo not the intake manifold like an n/a car, that is what the cold side pipe does this upgrade is air leaving the turbo going to the intercooler..so I'm not sure what your question is 😒😒

end to end the pipe is 4-3/4 inches long and the outer diameter is 2 inches.

How does this do anything? You decreased the diameter and made it more restrictive at a point in the system.

Same diameter but a smoother pipe, the one removed has baffles that restrict flow to cut noise.

Make sure you get the 6" aluminum or stainless steel tube with the beveled ends, and really torque down the bolts, which will keep the hosing from slipping over those beveled lips.

the ones from 845 motorsport of sxth element engineering come with three new bad ass hose clamps to help prevent the pop off which i havent heard is even an issue.
