Gene your videos are amazing! I wish I could show them to my Mom; she loved nature, SK lakes and shows without a lot of talking.

The same goes for me having to get out to your neck of the woods. Beautiful there too.

Yea that flatwater can get boring, but it's also fun to find rapids! Cheers! Enjoyed your adventure!
@GRSRiverrider6 жыл бұрын
The flatwater definitely doesn't always translate on screen. There's been many an awesome shoreline cruise that looked like nothing on review. Rapids never seem boring though, so I agree. Thanks for the comment!

Unfortunately composite canoes are like drums and the bumping and splashing of the square ended paddle gets amplified. Especially when the camera is mounted to them. Nothing is as quiet as a Cedar Canvas boat and an ottertail. The other 90% is beautiful! Thank you!

Sask, I dont know if you ever want to to show other people............it could be that Grasslands is my all time favorite outdoor video, for its desolation and simple elegance, Bama Rick
@GRSRiverrider6 жыл бұрын
I actually don't want to, but it worked out that people were still lounging around their camps near the interesting water features, so they stayed in. That's quite a compliment about my Grasslands video. The solitary environment in my videos is intentional and luckily is usually the case when I'm out there. Thanks for commenting, and verifying to me that the isolated atmosphere is the right choice.

Nice trip. Is a solo canoe the best way to go over a Kayak? Pls let me know thanks .👍🇨🇦
@GRSRiverrider4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't be the right guy to answer that. I've never tried a kayak. I'd say do what you're most into doing.

It is. It's two lakes above Otter Lake.

@@GRSRiverrider Solid, Ive never been up that way. Is the Montreal River navigable by Canoe?

Nice scenery but way too much talking, yelling and shouting.
