I really like the idea of using this technology to enhance a physical game. Nice work.

This is really beautiful! It might be interesting to play with a projector, and put the scratch animations right onto the landscape itself.

Thank you...I've been looking for a small short throw projector to do small scale projection-mapping.

Extraordinary! I have a prototype game board and Scratch project from last school year that works similarly. I love the way he build the circuitry and triggers the key/ground connection.

Wonderful idea, and superbly executed! I can't wait to adapt this for use in the classroom. Students will love the creative and gaming aspects, while the project will support instruction in coding and another content area. Thanks for sharing!

I recently ran a workshop for kids to create interactive landscapes. We connected the landscapes via Makey Makey boards (makeymakey.com) to animations created in Scratch (scratch.mit.edu). This is a short film about the process I used. #Scratch #MakeyMakey

Thanks, Robin. I ran a Makey Makey camp at our local library where we made very simple versions (1-2 interactive game spaces). The younger kids (3rd graders) focused more on building and painting game boards. A couple of 5th graders who were familiar with Scratch made full, interactive games.
