In 1:04, how do you do music tracks controlled by Enemy Proximity? Is this a new feature? I never seen that in the previous version of Wwise.

Hey! You may know this now as your comment is over a year old, but in case not I figured I’d reply :) There isn’t a dedicated feature for ‘Enemy Proximity’ inside of Wwise. To do something like that though, within the game engine you can set up a way to calculate the distance between the player and an enemy, and using these values, control an RTPC (Real Time Parameter Control). An RTPC is essentially like automation in a DAW, but using data from a game (such as distance from an enemy) to control something (such as a track’s voice volume) in Wwise. At 01:02 in the video on the upper left hand you can see that they’ve made an RTPC called ‘EnemiesNear’. I’m not sure what it’s controlling, but looking at their tracks, they have RTPC’s controlling the volume of the tracks (you can tell as the tracks have the RTPC button turned on in Orange), so I would speculate it’s set up in a way that the distance of the player to the enemy controls the volume of these tracks. You can also do other fun interactive things with this RTPC such as triggering different switches or states from it. Hope this is helpful in someway!
