Thanks. I really appreciate it. I try to break things down in a way that if my 10-year-old son wanted to understand it, he could. If I do it that way, then I think anyone would be able to understand it.

This man is an absolute natural instructor for speaking about complex biological structures and processes. His sense of humor and remarkably perfect diction is almost impossible to duplicate for most people. He has so much charisma you instantly like him and want to give him all your attention. He possesses very rare but gifted abilities to communicate. He is a winner in every aspect and anyone fortunate enough to observe him speak is truly blessed.

Great clinical tie in: In a newborn, hematopoiesis should be in the bone marrow ("medullary".) If hematopoiesis is happening outside of the marrow, "extramedullary hematopoiesis", we can see a rash on the newborn called a blueberry muffin rash. This lets us know that RBC precursors died in the marrow and needed to be made in the vasculature - indicating infection with rubella or parvovirus (or any other TORCH infection)
@InteractiveBiology2 жыл бұрын
Decatur, you are awesome. Thank you so much for adding that clinical tie in. Very helpful. Please feel free to add them in anytime.
