Hi Leslie, I have been watching interactive biology since I was studying for the MCAT! I’ve been a physician for a few years now but still watch and love your content. Really clear and easy to understand for all levels. Keep up the great work 🙂

I was thinking it had to be T-cells, but you already talked about them in the previous video in the series so I thought it was a trick question :D I was then thinking of dendritic cells, but looks like T-cells were the answer all along!

wow i never knew that T cells are like the body's superheroes fighting bad guys. They're crucial for recognizing and fighting off different germs to keep us healthy!"

You made it seem like the MHC molecule is the TCR. The MHC molecule doesn't have specificity and is expressed on antigen presenting cells. The TCR has specificity and is expressed on T cells.

Could you explain what is happening to T cell during asymptomatic replication and spread of covid virus?

That's a great topic. Thanks for suggesting. I'll keep that in mind for future videos.

Does that mean that our DNA “learns” to produce these antigens on the fly?
@Brickkzz2 жыл бұрын
It's selected by trial and error, and clonal expansion of *successful" cells

@@Brickkzz Thank you. I would love to see a video with your explanation. Is there a point in evolution when adaptive immunity becomes part or migrates into innate immunity?
