Little by little = a similar meaning Before you know it = very soon; the fastest way = before you notice it Out of the blue = Suddenly; totally unexpected At a glance = quickly; immediately To have something against someone = to be angry with/ mad at someone To look at the bright side = to look at something with a positive attitude/to try to see the best side of something To take issue with = to strongly disagree with something/to claim To keep a low profile = to be modest, humble/ to not try to attract the attention of others on you. In accordance with = following... Back roads = secondary roads to shorten the length Bear left/Bear right

i've taken the ielts a week ago. definitely gave me a confidence boost to know i am CEFR C1 level. i really thought i flunked the speaking subtest cause i started stuttering at the end since i was anxious during the 3rd part topic about politics. i wasn't sure what to say however i comforted myself whenever i feel intimidated with the questions being thrown at me. i don't need to have an answer that the examiner agrees with rather i should focus how i express and deliver my thoughts clearly that they can comprehend. i continued the conversation like talking to a colleague and got a speaking score of 8.
