Do you have a video about words that are truncated in conversation: like 'cuz instead of because? I said that yesterday and it confused my native German boyfriend who doesn't know much English. He repeated the word and wanted to know what it means. He knows what because (weil in German) is. I had to tell him I probably shouldn't say it.
@InteractiveEng6 жыл бұрын
Hi Vicki. We have a lesson on some common English reductions, which we've framed as a pronunciation lesson. But you bring up a good point and something that we could tackle in a future lesson. In case you're interested, here's the word reduction lesson. 👍 kzbin.info/www/bejne/oH_UgmN3qtF3rMU
