This is so fascinating and I love the insight this video gave me into my chart. My first house intercepts Pisces and my seventh house intercepts Virgo. I've always lacked mundane structure, and growing up through grade school, always did what I wanted and never really felt compelled to do things consistently unless absolutely necessary, which is definitely emphasized in the Virgo intercepted. And as far as getting where I want to go in life, I've always known that I want to be an author and work in publishing but my vision to get there has always been murky. For instance, I'm a business marketing major striving to work in publishing, but my vision to get there with my major feels difficult and hard to see. With the lack of Virgo's structure, I feel that I'm lacking the steps necessary to help me get to where I want to be and my Pisces interception makes that vision even harder to see. My Venus and Mercury are also intercepted, because they're in Pisces. This makes sense to me too, because growing up I've always had trouble expressing how I felt (I was in the closet for most of my youth, and still am to quite a few people). With my Venus being intercepted, I feel like I'm behind much of my peers in the romance department. My first relationship with another guys, if you can call it that, felt harder than it should. We love interceptions in my chart. And to add to that, with my Cancer and Capricorn being in duplicate houses, I feel over emotional/stuck in my feelings a lot and pretty much attach everything in my life to emotions (my cancer is in the fifth and sixth house). Capricorn is duplicated in the eleventh and twelfth house. I've always felt that I have a lot of love to give and offer to people (especially with my Venus in the first house, and my Venus is also a Pisces), but have always had a hard time showing my affection towards my family and friends, so thank you Capricorn in the eleventh house (my Moon is also in Capricorn). And with it also being in the twelfth house, I've felt a little restricted much of my life (probably because I've been in the closet for so long). Wow, I typed a lot huh hahah

OMG Alyssa, THANK YOU. The examples you talked about in the video were so HELPFUL because I have Libra/Aries intercepted on the 5th/11th house axis. I ALWAYS felt isolated from the social groups. My sister taunted me throughout childhood that "I had no friends" and that thought just destroyed me. Being that the 11th house rules awards and accomplishments, I was left out at the end of high school when everyone in my singing group BUT ME received anaward for excellence. I had a severe loss of faith in my teachers on that day (Jupiter in libra intercepted). It has been so hard to "find myself" in relationships. I totally know what it's like to have the Pisces and Virgo energies doing double duty in your life: in one moment, you're reveling in the dream of beauty and the next moment you're being criticized for being too short-sighted and critical. I could never wrap my head around why I was always criticized by my family for being so "critical". Ayayay Anyway, it has been hard. When I left the shelter of my high school, I couldn't figure out how to shine bright. It felt like everyone I encountered was taking things from me, but hardly giving back. Only the druggy types would empathize with me and give back, but you know how that goes. So now I'm realizing that in order to find my place in society and to clarify my hopes and dreams, I need to find my voice. This has always been kind of apparent in the back of mind, but now I see the astrology of it, with a debilitated Mars in the 2nd house. I can empathize with your struggles because you've got the 2nd house intercepted, so I can tell that you're the type of person who had a difficult journey developing her own voice. I'm the same way. I'm tired of people taking credit for what I give to them! I'm tired of being the Pisces Saint and acting like I don't care! Haha! I think this is what the Mars energy feels like. Gosh I am so grateful that you offer your insight and that you have found your voice, because wow! What a voice it is! I see so many parallels in our charts now that it inspires me and gives me hope that I will find my voice, too. And I'll be able to say, "I've had enough criticism! I don't need so much Virgo in my life, thank you!" and to find a way to shine just for the sake of it, and perform without fear of criticism. Gemini-Sagittarius intercepted. I have started having a lot of issues with being understood, listened to in university and in my career. My boyfriend has Leo-Aquarius intercepted with Sun in Leo in 8th intercepted and he was never praised, told he was smart growing up. I have Sagittarius intercepted in the 1st house & Gemini intercepted in the 7th house. I do have a lot of 9th house energy so I feel more connected to Sag, but Gemini is a different story. I've always felt detached from Gemini as a sign in general & dread small talk, mingling, etc. I wish I had more Gemini, or at least a planet there, so I could understand it more.

Alyssa Sharpe I have Libra intercepted in the 6th house. And since the 6th house rules work and routine, I have a problem with being dominated in the workplace...or anywhere really. I've never taken well to being a subordinate, and always wind up taking on a leadership role. Being a Leo w/Taurus Rising and Moon doesn't help this either, I don't think. My Natal chart says that I will do best in my later years pertaining to work if I'm self-employed...this may be one of the reasons why, so thanks for this bit of info!

Lexicon 67 I'm the same with my sun in libra intercepted in the 6th. After years of problems at work and not even knowing what the problem was, it shows up as health for me, I get sick either mentally or physically and feel like im losing myself, I think thats my neptune square sun and pluto there also maybe. I've been self employed for the past few months and although i have no spare money other than for bills, i feel more free and in control of my life, which i would rather be poor and feel free than feel otherwise. I have issues with boundaries and picking up on other people (I can astral body scan really well), when im in relationships or work with people I constantly feel pressure to do everything that they want and more and like I cannot give enough to them and I feel when they are not happy with me even when im doing my best so get/got overwhelmed easily. Working through the internet and barely having contact with others is whats working for me right now :/ I would go for it if you get chance, just give it a try, whats the worse that could happen.

Scarlet Peoni It has affected my health as well. It says clearly in my Natal Chart that employers see how hard working I am, and tend to take advantage of it without rewarding me for my efforts...that has gone on far too much in my life. My goal is to eventually find a way to be self-employed, in one form or another. I tend to find leadership roles quickly, but I'm never compensated adequately...which I've always blamed on being female. That kind of thing doesn't seem to happen to men as often.

I too have the sun intercepted but also along with merc and mars in the 3rd house-aries. Yeah I can relate to realizing things after I was out in the world. Duplicate signs Taurus and Scorpio 4th/5th, 10th/11. Its true what is said about intercepted planets gaining momentum as you get older. Like a drawing back of the bow-cause when the arrows flies, it will surely hit its mark--skipping a few levels to make up for lost time. The interception should not be underestimated, along with the people who have them. I feel like at my age, I'm finally getting my bearings in life and my place in it. Finally starting to be comfortable in my own skin. It's all real simple, just isn't always easy.

I'm a Cap sun and Pisces rising with interceptions in my 1st house aries (w/ aries south node) and 7th house libra (w/ libra chiron + libra north node) , and I honestly could relate word for word many times watching this...like pushing a lottt of my dating firsts to 21 but passing it off as being a result of standards/virgo descendant, when really, I think I'd always seen romantic relationships as meticulous things to be extremely careful with, more than anything else. I knew somewhere that I'd get it done eventually, but I was also super cautious about it/in no rushes at all, and sort of constant drama with family made those things feel even harder to integrate into everyday life for so long that by the time it happened, I'd literally graduated college........ Makes sense. 5th house Scorpio intercepted 11th house Taurus intercepted. I've always had difficulties with love affairs and long-lasting friendships. My Moon in Scorp (emotions) was never really addressed, like they don't exist at all. My Taurus Venus wasn't addressed too, so.. yeah, struggling with self-worth since. I believe I have a natural chart. Aries asc. On my astro personal report, all of the houses are represented by the next sign in the zodiac. Aries in first to Pisces in the 12th. An astrologer once made this seem like a good thing, but didn't elaborate as to why.

I have Capricorn intercepted in 4th house and Cancer intercepted in 10th. I also have intercepted Neptune in Capricorn. I never met my father and my childhood wasn't particularly a good one because fate had it in for my family I suppose. I struggle to focus and work hard on things even though I want to do well in life. I have struggled a lot with how people perceive me, I always think that nobody takes me seriously. I have a Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn all interception. These are all things I had to learn on my own in my 20s. I had no structure growing up. My parents had a laissez faire attitude about raising me (not my brother). Mars is like the father and the Moon is the mother. Neither one of them gave me structure nor love. My father was also very tyranical and I never knew why. Endlessly trying to please him ended up pointless.

I have a quasi-stellium (Uranus Venus Pluto all conjunct) in 8th house and the house it's intercepted. The house is in virgo. I felt I needed to purge something inside me, i wanted to find where the devil was hiding... and it took me 17 years of solitude to figure it out! I was a nice young attractive woman when i decided to stay alone, without a partner, but it came natural to me. It looked like i had this mission to accomplish and i did it. I have no regrets for my "best years" gone because silencing my life gave me the opportunity to understand and make a step forward which is not a little thing, it's a huge accomplishment. If i was in a relationship it would have not been possible, because the day to day life with all its matters would have distracted me and my life would have been meaningless, because my duty was to dig deeply inside myself and find the dirt that in the surface was totally invisible. Very intense but also because it was "in the plans" life has been gentle with me, i raised my children easily and i never had problem with money. Life provides with all the support in order to make us work in what we are supposed to.

I have 4 cancer/10 Capricorn intercepted, and my moon in Taurus is the only earth energy in 2nd house. so, my emotions and home issues are out of balance. My son has 4 planets in intercepted signs (sun, saturn, jupiter and chiron). Leo and Aquarius are his intercepted signs, which I believe are fixed signs. He drives for a living now and loves it because he doesn't have to stay in one spot all day (he lost his ability to be fixed- which is also indicated by the fact that he was borderline ADHD growing up). I believe that the planet always has influence whether or not it is in an intercepted sign, because astrologers say that the sign of the house cusp is what really matters....so even though my son has a sun in Leo, it is in a house that is under Cancer rule, so he isn't a real Leo - he is more of a Cancer than a Leo. Just my two cents. Thanks for the interesting video.

Great explanation of intercepted signs (something that confused me before). I have neptune and uranus intercepted in Sag in the 3rd and my moon and chiron intercepted. in gemini in the 9th. I'd assume an intercepted moon would be a lot of repressed emotional stuff, which actually makes sense because growing up my family was all about being calm and practical and not emotional at all.

Awesome video. What about planets that are incepted, but the sign itself is not? Like an example could be having your Sun in the 10th house in Pisces, but your 10th house cusp is in Aquarius. However, Pisces DOES cusp a house... it cusps the 11th house.

I have Gemini intercepted in my 11th house / Sag in my 5th! My Sun (19 deg) and Venus (27 deg) are in Gemini. Neptune in Sag opposes both. I have struggled my entire life (Im 40) with maintaining close friendships. I was a very lonely child. ....hmmmm..... What I've noticed is that people born way up the northern hemisphere almost all of them have intercepted houses and signs. So then especially when you have a lot of planets in an intercepted sign, plus it's your Sun Sign too, does that mean you never 'shine your light' into the world? I have it in my 5th house SCO and 11th house TAU, and it entails all my planets in SCO, Sun conj. Venus, then at later degrees my SN and my Neptune all in SCO. Then it goes further, since my 5th house is at the end of LIB and the 6th house does not start until almost mid. SAG. My Mercury is right into 0.24deg SAG and of course in the 5th house. I truly have no problem at all with communication, I'm actually quite inventive and out-going with this, while also being bi-lingual. .... On the other side there is TAU intercepted in the 11th house. My North-Node is in it and my Moon. I do have strong feelings about what happens in the world and I do value friends, although I'm very, very selective whom I let into my personal life. I'm a very creative individual, based in Graphic Design and I love to draw and paint as well, doing handy crafts from an early age on, like knitting and crocheting nice pieces of clothing and blankets, and even small little purses, hats, and scarfs. I don't know, if this really pertains to me, this stuff with the intercepted signs and houses. I'm a load of Scorpio-Personality as much as you can get! ... lololol :-) Not sure if I buy into the interceptions, but I'm more gearing to the equal house system, since there is no way to not have all energies within you, while some are more amplified and others may lay a bit dormant, when there are no planets in some signs, so I've noticed. Also, if it where true that when a house is intercepted and a sign starts two cusps, like it is the case with my 2nd and 3rd house both ruled by LEO, I don't see anything 'extra', since I'm very unlucky with money and material things even accumulating this, (and if I do it's easily lost due to unfortunate circumstances) despite of the fact that my Jupiter in LEO is right at the cusp of the 2nd house, yet still slightly in the 1st. Not sure how to read these interceptions, and I've been looking at Astrology for a few decades now, but these things never brought any clarity to me, so I am still doubting if Interceptions are even valid. What experiences does everyone else have with interceptions? Or is it just me? ... that I do not see effects with this.

Your chart sounds similar to mine’s . Pisces rising/ Virgo descendant with Aries & Libra intercepted. Except my Aries North Node and Libra South Node is intercepted. And Jupiter in Aries at 29 degrees. Want to assert myself with being accused of being of being too much. But I feel in this lifetime I need to focus on myself. The only thing I think helped me but started in my teenage years was my Leo stellium ( with Leo Sun) in the 6th house.
