tbh I've agonized over the choices for this one loadout for way too long, possibly why I've missed the deadline for the KTC intercession squad build. I chose the Angels Resplendent of Peter Fehervari's the Reverie (not to be confused with the blood orange bois of the wiki) a Blood Angels successor chapter of knightly artisans who've overcome the curses of the black rage and red thirst but are curiously tainted by the ruinous powers in (mostly more) subtle ways. Great report as always and keep up the good work.

One other rules note: if you win the Initiative Roll you get to CHOOSE which player gets the Initiative - though if it is a Tie Roll, the player who didn't have Initiative last turn gets the Initiative automatically - no option to choose to pass it to the other player. So on Turn 2 you winning the roll meant that you could have chosen to force the Intercessors to move first.

I love the way you edit and present your Bat Reps. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for more KT content in the future! I’m gonna break the mould and say that I actually think the rules mistakes can be helpful. Other people will be making the same mistakes I’m sure, so keeping them in the video - and then subsequently explaining what you got wrong and how it should have played out could be a good learning experience for other players! My opinion is don’t sweat the rules mistakes, it happens to all of us! I agree with another commenter that pointing them out in the edit helps newer players learn the rules better. As always it was a super enjoyable batrep

Actually, whoever wins the roll-off in the Initiative Phase can decide which player has the initiative. So if you don't want it, you can give it to your opponent.

Those legionaries look amazing mate, very well done. No worries on the rules mistakes either, remembering everything especially when a new team is involved and recording a batrep (which makes everything 4 times as hard!) is tricky, especially when you haven't played in a while, I'm just happy to have some content to watch on those rare moments I get to sit down atm! Also, tell us how you *really* feel about Intercessors :D

@@GFNGaming I think Legionaries probably provide the best playing experience of all the bespoke teams. Interesting rules, yet not overly complicated. Varied list building, but not overwhelming or easily broken and only 6 miniatures to paint makes for a very fun and easy team. If GW could fix the butcher and make the Slaanesh and Khorne marks more enticing, it would be pretty damn close to perfection.

I modeled mine the same because powerfists are cool, I just clarify that he's using the chains word profile before the game starts.

I thought I knew the Intercession Squad rules until I printed them like an old man printing off emails and gave them a re-read. Anyway, great video as always! I saw the length of the Turn 2 Firefight phase in the player and instantly knew this was gonna be my kind of bloodbath.

Awesome video and Battle report! Dang that intercession squad was broken. The Sargeant can only take a chainsword if he is equipped with the plasma pistol. I think this game would have been more fun if the intercession squad was more accurate to the rules.

The Intercession team definitely had some illegal load outs. On top of that the dice were not your friends at some key moments.

I think the bigger issues were with positioning and order of operarions. The heavy bolter really didn't want to be that far forward and the assault Intercessor promptly demonstrated why. Instead the heavy gunner wanted to get malign influence from the balefire acolyte round 1 and then shoot back at the intercessors who were shooting down at the bottom of the map. Likewise, the balefire acolyte didn't want to be the objective holder. He wanted to be dropping life syphon or fireblast. The shrivetalon is the ideal choice for picking up the objective since he still get to attack first even if he's the defender..
