Got to say this was really fantastic to watch as a casual player. Very high level of play but everyone is very vocal (but concise) about everything they are doing at every stage. I learnt a lot just watching and even think I have a much better grasp of cover vs obscured and how to use it after watching this. Sportsmanship was really high level too. Both players clearly felt comfortable questioning each other and talking through specific moves or rules without ever feeling like it was confrontational. This is really exemplar for good play IMHO. Really commendable all round.

I've always been an arrested developement fan and sometimes i just like a bleep instead of the curse, It does also have the benefit of meaning its 'safe' for people to watch with their kids as i've also been told people do that - trying to hook their children onto mini wargaming early i guess.

What an awesome Fight! But I have a question, in the turn 2 where the bomb squid used the Dynamite, he suffered 3 wounds which meant he was injured, with this being said, it would been hitting on 4+ when he did the attack against the marine no? 31:55 hit hitted (5) (5) (5) (3) the last one was not supposed to hit because of the injured status and the marine saved 1 crit, making it to survivewith only 10 wounds. Let me know if this is true or not, thanks for the content! greetings from Colombia
@SunShineNovo2 жыл бұрын
About Bomb Squig, he have 6 wound so suffer 3 damage not making him an injured (Because 3hp it's exactly half, not fewer). But Bomb Squig dont have splash keyword, so 5s is not a crit. Actually Bomb Squig have same wording as a Demolition Veteran Guardsman which makes him able to hit all target in range, unfortinatelly it's still not a splash keyword.

Fantastic vid, great editing and even better commentry. But Yeizus that Kommando player got on my nerve. Even a novice could see he wasn't very good, but he constantly tried to cheese the rules in his favour not giving a single fck about the other dude. The SM player was a great sport though and did some great plays.

Seems like it, rereading the book it seems like visibility it different and its all base edge measuring. Im not 100%
@earnestwanderer24712 жыл бұрын
There’s some sort of trick that involves using the “grid” lines on the map board that allows you to determine LOS. Of course I can’t remember what it is. 🙂
