Very underrated country. Even more underrated than Belgium

I fully agree Belgium is not even that “whow” to be honest, only the French part is nice in terms of nature (culture definitely the Dutch part). I mean Belgium is next door for me, so I’m there pretty often however I really would like to feature a bit more of Slovenia as well. Slovenia has everything, beaches under the palm trees, mountains with a ski resort, just everything in such a small part of Europe. Also what is something worth mentioning, of all former east European countries, Slovenia is economically one of the best preforming countries, they don’t spend too crazy (as you can see on the railway) but at the moment the time is right they are making wise and good investments (at least for the railway).

Actually Slovenia is the richest as u said "eastern " country but FYI Slovenia than part of Yugoslavia was not part of the eastern block but was neutral and very westernized... Slovenia has already overcome many western countries in many things...Life quality index 16. In the world HDi index( development of a country) 0,926 the same as Austria and ahead of Italy,France,Spain,....the average Slovenian family is Richer and wealthier as an average British family - source World finance 2023....but yes railway infrastructure should be renewed 😅but even it's a huge finical project and money could be arranged there no will or other priorities ....great video anyway 😊... cheers from Portorose ❤❤❤❤

@MickL-x5i @MickL-x5i is not tradition mate it's more effective mobility.....if the the railroads were modernized people would utilize them more so less traffic, less pollution and many more advantages, I think sooner or later this step should be taken...

You nailed it: Slovenia and Belgium, two tiny, very underrated countries. I love them both.

Slovenia realy needs a new railway.

True, they basically use train tracks built under Austria-Hungary. However, Slovenia invests in railway infrastructure with new lines, bridges and tunnels to improve freight to the main harbour in Koper. I hope, passenger commute on the east-west axis will be considered more seriously in future. The highways just can’t take all of that load.

Looks like a beautiful country. That baby changing table looked like you couldn't keep a baby rolling off it 😂

That's why Slovenia is such a small country... all of our babies keep rolling of off the changing tables.
