3:39 just as a warning, this is sort of risky. _The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't._ _In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was._ _The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error._

I love your video! It's such a good explanation of the Tennison Gambit, just wonderful content. I do have a question however. Currently, I'm like a 700 player so I might be stupid IM AWARE but hear me out. At 3:38 you say instead of the move Qxc8, you should play Qxc7. I believe this is a mistake like Qxc8, because Black can then play Nc6, which, with a very beautiful geometry, traps your Queen, making every move she has a tragedy. Then Nd8 or Ne5 pulls the trigger on the one space she had left. Instead, I think White should adopt a "take the money and run" approach to the Tennison Gambit, where they play Qd3+, Qd2, or Qd1 to just get their Queen out of Black's territory. Just my thoughts, thank you!

Hi Levy, could you please carry on with your D4 and black pieces rating climb, I really loved those 😄

You can get that fork on Mokele Mbembe Alekhine Defence, and it's more intuitive as well

2:21 what if the opponent plays 3. Qd3? Continuations like 4.d3 4.h5 5.Nc3 may not lose you the game but with the pawn being taken the ICBM is gone

Made my uncle fall for this when we played this Christmas lol

at 3:43 after taking the pawn your opponent can play knight c6 which traps your queen, and then on their next move they can play knight on f6 to d5 and win your queen.

"You can even turn it into a reverse Stafford gambit" Someone's been watching Eric Rosen too much
@12jswilson4 жыл бұрын
It's not really a reverse Stafford because a lot of Stafford ideas don't work because black can play e6. I play the Boden-Kierseritsky against the Petrov which has the same ideas as the Stafford plus is a tempo up

this kind of suits the "the bishop from 100 miles away" meme but it's the queen
