Do not forget to do this before attaching the final intake pipes back on, start up vehicle with ' MAIN INTAKE PIPE DISCONNECTED' from the inlet manifold/egr/anti judder valve, and position it away from the direct path of the intake side of manifold, then raise engine revs, and give it a semi/full throttle intermittently, for around 15 to 20 cycles, this way any residue left in the intercooler will NOT ENTER the engine, creating a KNOCKING, and possibly damaging the internal components, switch off the engine once you have done this, and reattach the main inlet pipe from the intercooler outlet to the correct location, fasten its clip, and then restart the engine, leaving it idling for around 30 minutes, then take car for a road test, driving it normal, for around 5 miles, once this is all done, give it a bit of a kickdown to get the full boost from the turbo to completely dry out the intercooler. HOPE THIS HELPS. ( from an Audi / VW specialist in the U.K ) 🙂

For your kind information intercooler after cleaning with diesel needs to be kept in sunlight for atleast 1 hour to dry off the diesel residues inside it. Otherwise on first stratup after all fitment of parts when we crank the engine it make a very loud knocking and that is harmful to engine. So whenever we clean intercooler we should make it 100 % dry before fitting up

Sir i guess , you didn't watched the video carefully , i pressured all the diesel out of system before installing charge line to intake , and sir just for the information , sunlight isn't powerful enough that to dry diesel residue in an hour , you have to pressurise it to push it out .

Yes it will be , but in most of VW cars , its not just the inter cooler., you have to remove the intercooler , radiator and condenser as well

@@yourDIYneedsyes you are right… i just found out it’s a nightmare to disconnect the intercooler! It’s between the condenser and the radiator. Eventually, i did exactly like you, cleaned it with diesel but also with water and soap and vacuumed everything with strong vacuum. Two days after that my injector bolt was stripped while driving and injectors popped out! but I don’t think it’s related to the intercooler cleaning 😁 this car has endless issues unfortunately!

Pour the diesel into the hose that connects to the anti-shudder valve which he showed by removing the engine cover, which is accessible from the top, diesel will drain out through the lower pipe which was accessed by raising the vehicle. hope that clears your doubt 👍

When accelerating at around 2k rpm car gives black smoke and in hard acceleration it creates black cloud that i can see from irvm its 1.6tdi clocked 1.98lakh km but no drop in pick up or fuel economy and no fault code injector changed at 14k kms. is it becoz of intercooler?

No sir its same , just different words used for same thing One gear cog is known as gear but when multiple gear cogs combined with synchro and gear shafts that complete unit is called transmission or gearbox

Yes recently sir , you can go to the Volkswagen playlist on the channel and have a look Vw says it's a long life lubricant , but we must change it every 70-80k kms because every thing breaks down and has a life . This life long term usuall has a small star * at the end 😅

Hi Sir.My Dads Tata Safari dicor has AC issue..its has a leak but service centers are not able to find it ..they say removing whole ac system ,they have to remove engine too.So yearly 4-5 times,my ac is being topped up.Cooling is very low from 11pm-5pm(hot climate)..and when i turn Ac on,there is a hissing sound like a snake for a few min.I recently cleaned the ac condenser near radiator,compressor is working fine..ac level pr is at 45,cleaned the coil too from seeing your videos..gave it 3 times to authorised service centers,but they are not able to find the source and say it would cost arround 15k for entine ac system removal and checking.Can you give me any sugesstions Sir.

Sir go for a mechanic outside the ASC , if a leak very minute then its is really very hard to diagnose , as you told that you need to refill the system 4-5 times in a year so it means the gas leaks out in 2 months or so , which is very very slow . What we can check is line connections Usually all the ac pipes which connect to compressor or condensor or cooling coil has a small rubber O-ring to properly seal the system , usually all those seals are of same size and easy to source , but you have to loose all the gas charge in system to change those , if a mechanic is ready just to change the seals . And if seals are ok then the last thing we can do is filling a coloured dye in the system along with the gas top-up ,and whenever it will leak and from wherever it leaks , it will leave proof . Service centre is gonna do the same thing but with the system out of car as sometimes its really hard to observe the pipes when they are fitted inside . Hope i answered your question 🙂

anyone here can help please? I drive an Audi A3 1.6 TDI 2012 with 106000 miles on. the problem it has is the following; -It has a slight hesitation when pulling off. When disengage the clutch, the car move smooth as butter but when accelerate a bit, it hesitates ( it kangeroos), this happens in 1st and sometimes in second. it drives well in all gears without a problem. In order to solve the problem, i tried the following: _FULL service _ Carbon cleaned the engine. _Replaced the MAF sensor and coolant sensor _Timing belt changed _ EGR spray clean _DPF spray clean _Full scan and it came with NO faults !! @@yourDIYneeds sounds like clutch problem .. my 2014 vento 1.6 tdi does the same . You will have the problem in all gears but , you ain't feel it because you release the pedal to fast in hi gears . I don't know what the problem is exactly , in my case , it only happens up to 1400rpm (fully warm up only ) close to be the pedal almost out but not when the engine is on idle. Could be a worn out clutch pad and vibration reducers . I will know what the problem is the next clutch replacement

Be careful with this process, you must follow all the steps .. I forgot to disconnect the intercooler hose and turned on the car and this hose passed oil to the intake .. I had to change the oil and clean the intercooler again

I went to a mechanic and he told me to just change the oil and disconnect the hoses from the intercooler and turn it on and once it was clean the intercooler would turn it on and if my car was fixed. my advice to other people is to make sure the intercooler is clean and dry before connecting the hoses

Sir , the real need in situation was just to clear the intercooler . I had already shown in video that its extremely imp to clear out the diesel from intake track. Or it will start to knock . Your mechanic just made some money out of you , for the oil change , which may not even be required at this point .

After started the engine very bad knocking and fully raised rpm , I am shocked and put off the ignition then also the engine continuesly running after few seconds engine stoped , engine totally seized, stuck . 😢

Back compression ko thik karane ke liye diya to mechanic ne fir intercooler aur tappet cover change kar diya lekin back compression ka problem nahi gaya mechanic bolta hai ki isko continue chalaoge to back compression band ho jaega, aap batao kya karna chahiye?
