You shouldn't actually believe everything you see in real life either. Our senses are notoriously fickle and unreliable. If our sense were so reliable, we wouldn't have such things as optical or aural, etc illusions. But more than this. We are also extremely good at fooling ourselves. Especially if we want something to be so, or are already thinking along those lines. And let's be completely honest here. Many folk are dumber than stumps.

***** People have been creating hoaxes for far longer than youtube has been around. And a lot require people spend hard cash on a gorilla suit, go hiking in the woods, contact the media, etc. No one made a penny off that. I think some people just get a thrill out of tricking other people.
@theendofit7 жыл бұрын
yah i know. not even two years after the first camera was made did somone make a hoax photo. that was in 1840. by 1914 we had high qulity(for the time) fake pictures of fairys that were so so convincing that many people beloved they were real and traveled far searching for them. and long before pictures people just made up stories. my point was never doubt something could be faked when its not well backed up. the lower the quality of the video the easier it is to fake something with it. and finally just because you dont see a way someone made money on something does not mean they did not. the news often pays people for interviews. sightings of bigfoot often boost tourist so a local business will profit off a sighting near where they are. also any movies with simler themes as to whats hoaxed will get a boost in sales because people had heared it on the news. also the news sights get alot more clicks for these ufo bigfoot stories and thus if they are a small time local news or web news might make it up themselves.

DEBUNK THE MENDELLA EFFECT
@joebrokenstrang37117 жыл бұрын
Gage Stricker Do you mean the Mandela effect? First, what elements need to be debunked? That it's either a result of mind control, time travel, the matrix or evidence of the existence of parallel universes? Second, assuming that you _do_ want it 'debunked' for that reason, how does Captain D, whose métier is CGI, fit in?

He debunks videos, not psychological theories.

There's really no debunking, people are just too proud to admit a mistake. Love with your heart, use your head for anything else!

Thank you for all the time you have spent debunking UFOs. I just recently posted my experience in four versions. The last contains my face ,testimony, comparison to his first UFO sighting in the documentary "extraordinary". While other factors in the documentary are debatable . I could not argue when I saw the ship he saw in 02-27-17
