Fun little fact, Keyleth being a half elf will probably live to be around 200 years old. However, as a druid her lifespan is extended by 10 times that. Keyleth can FAR outlive her friends and that's why Osysa threw in that extra little dig at the end "Or knowing that no one will live long enough to see you achieve it."

The Black Powder Merchant is a favorite reoccurring character from the live stream. Matthew created the character in a panic and it stuck. The character design is exactly what Matthew wore for a Halloween representation of the character. Seriously, look up clips of the live show. They’re hilarious!

I still remember the first time Matt pulled Viktor out. The interplay between him and Talesin (Percy) was hilarious, and afterward the players gave Matt a standing ovation. :D There are super cuts on KZbin of just Viktor, and I'd recommend watching those after you finish the series. :) I do not remember it there are spoilers in them or not.

Some context on Earthbreaker Groon. When the party first met him, Grog had just won Tavern Fight (actual pit/gladiator style) and everyone got silent when Groon revealed himself from above. Afterwards, the party went to the Temple of the Stormlord where similar to here Grog got beat up by Groon, except that I think Scanlan and Vax were allowed to join. Groon is a monk, one of the dnd class know being able to make quick and multiple hits in one turn with the move “Flurry of Blows”. He is specifically a “Way of the Open Hand” monk, which of course specializes in hand combat, but mostly on causing distance. Pushing the opponent while fight.

Victor, the Black Powder Merchant at the end, was actually my first experience with Critical Role. Matt came up with his voice and look on the spot, since Percy needed to get materials for ammo while in Vasselheim.

Also I love how they portrayed Osysa in this show. Such a cool (and hurtful) moment. And of course,Victor The Black Powder Merchant is an icon. So, for the officials in Vasselheim sounding really arrogant about their walls holding, that's because their city is the oldest in the world of Exandria. They've been around so long that the city has fought off beings much stronger than dragons, like titans and gods. And the city is also defended by powerful dragons of their own. They're wrong for what they say, but their confidence is kind of earned.
