The way his head movements were JUST erratic enough to show urgency and weight to his movements but steady enough for us to watch this and understand what is going on PLUS the way his weapon collisions and how he catches himself in so many instances are so on point, no weird twisting of the vr arm from the irl arm from swinging past the collision in vr or any weird visual vr imperfections aside from that one moment of "xray" on top of the golem. Dude this was awesome to see, would watch more of this from you. Whether this was perfectly choreographed based or completely on the spot, it is still amazing :D
@jessegd63065 ай бұрын
Having done my first completion of Crystal Hunt, I can indeed say that Hector is a worthy boss fight. Makes you be aware of your environment, makes you need to think quick about how to get to those weakpoint-protecting glowstones, recognize what weapons would be suitable for dealing with his weakpoints, and of course the (personally disorienting and nausea-inducing) flailing about during the colossus climb in order to reach the upper points. And of course the experimentation, I wasn't even aware you could stun him with the shield throw and interrupt that charging beam. So, we've seen a skilled warrior tackle a fully powered golem, but now I wonder how a full-mage would fare, or perhaps other thematic combatants when mods get updated. Jedi/Sith would be neat, as would a Mandelorean. A Hunter from Bloodborne would also be fun, or someone from Final Fantasy, or Assassin's Creed, hell we could see what a ninja from the Narutoverse could do. This update's pretty good in Vanilla, can only get even better when those mods get updated and online for more thematic dungeon runs~
