People unselfishly helping others are by far my favorites. A woman missing a leg receiving crutches from a man with prosthetic legs. A woman in a wheelchair being hoisted above the crowd by other concert goers, another gentleman in a wheel chair being pushed along by his German Shepherd, and someone saving a guinea pig! All of the heroes saving wildlife are incredibly gratifying to see. Thanks for sharing these positive sights. We need more of them!

I've saved a baby goat from drowning before and a wild house cat that was stuck in a fence. I don't feel like a hero, I hope everybody would do the same in that situation, but I am very happy I was around and heard their cry for help. They both made it. The goat was totally exhausted, maybe hypothermia but he made a quick recovery at animals rescue. The cat scratched all over my arm and ran away, so I am pretty sure he was doing fine as well. ;)

We once rescued a puppy who was ran over by a car. Its mother was in so much pain. We took it to the vet and the veterinarian said if it survives till morning it MAY survive but chances are low. We brought it home and took care of it and fed it . Next morning we saw it was happily playing in our garden. We gave the puppy to a friend and it hasa great home now
