Interior Burning & Cloth Tearing Free Houdini & Karma Tutorial (Free Houdini project)

In this video tutorial Saber Jlassi and Andrew Sutherland will show you how to create Interior Burning FX with Cloth Tearing effects using Pyro and vellum.
Saber will start off by showing the shading, lighting and rendering in Karma and then Andrew will explain in depth the simulation process.

Hey Saber, Question. I know that most think that Arnold is a really slow renderer. But I tested it vs Karma CPU yesterday and found out that it's actually faster! Especially when using HDRIs in Karma CPU it slows down the calculations so much that the result from 30 minutes of rendering looks worse than the one I'd get from Arnold in 3-5 minutes. No 🧢

Thanks a lot for the breakdown :) only thing is I'm using redshift and I can't get the flame to be visible in my camera :/ tried to follow other pyro redshift tutorials but still no luck.. would love to see some redshift tutorials from you guys if that's possible🙏

Does it work with Karma though? Make sure you have all fields from your volume present and that your Redshift shader uses the correct name to drive the emission (flame). Also you probably need to convert your volume to VDB if you haven't already. Standard Houdini volumes don't work properly or at all in Redshift.

Unfortunately for a newbie, the file downloaded is pointing to missing geo that's not part of the download and the paths are not localized to this Houdini file as to make the file self-contained.

XPU works much faster than CPU, need to use different materials for XPU
