My husband and I are BRAND NEW empty nesters and I can say that I never regretted one minute of being a stay-at-home mom who poured into her family. In this day and age I 100% applaud your daughter for standing for her children/family first. I know God will bless you all for this decision. ❤

Just saw Sherrah's video. I lost my husband to cancer 23 years ago. That life ended, and I had to go on. I will tell you I had a lot of false starts before I found my happy place. I sold my home and rented apartments for several years and waited for things to shake out. It is tough. But I made it, not in my timing, but in God's.

How wonderful for Sharra and the children!! I stayed home full time from teaching until our son turned 4. Then I went back to teaching half time for a few years. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. Now our daughter in law stays home to care for her family. The stable foundation this provides for children is beyond price. I stayed home with my four kids and it was one of the top best choices of my life, hands down. The impact it made on our family closeness and stability can’t be bought with money made by working. We’re now almost empty nesters and enjoying the fruits of a life well lived - we had to make do finances wise but are rich (and in this society, filthy rich) in family closeness. I applaud your daughter for knowing where her priorities lie. Also I love your work and am excited for Christmas!!

Found your channel in March 2020. Just like we remember September of 2011 , parents december of 1941. The journey to destinations is filled with energy, mystery , and determination . Congratulations to you and Sharrah!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I left my career to be home with my little kids full-time bc I didn’t have that opportunity with my oldest and it really pained me for years. I have not regretted that decision for one second despite the hard days!! I have done all 3…single working mom, married working mom and married full-time SAHM and I can say the third is BY FAR the most at peace I have felt and the most rewarding. Sharrah can always launch a career when her kids are older and not so dependent on her for all things. You can’t get that time back with your littles and I know she loves design so I’m sure it wasn’t an easy decision, but in my personal opinion, it was the decision she won’t regret! Gurl! You get it! I totally understand change! I'm in my mid 50's and transitioning into new creative avenues with my life and career as well. So proud of you and your daughter! Both of you are wonderful, strong women whom I'm inspired with! I stayed home to homeschool my 4 children for over 20 years (1st to last). It was so hard and trying but one of the best decisions I've ever made! I love my kiddos (late teens and young adults now) so much! They are a treasure to my husband and I! Your daughter will treasure this time with her kiddos as well. As for you, I can't wait to see what's coming! Blessings and keep inspiring! I'm so glad you're staying!! 💗🤗
