I subscribe to House & Home, I love when it shows up, I'm rural so I have to walk down my laneway to get it, it's always such a treat when I open up the mailbox and there it is! I enjoyed this episode immensely, just to listen to the discussion, so invigorating. I've always had a very moderate income (laid off now due to covid so just got a whole lot tighter) but I love decorating, making the best of what I've got, I've used so many principles and ideas and copied so many looks over the years from magazines. I love my comfy home and at the same time it always needs work. I've been fluffing things up. And digging into closets and nooks and cranny's doing some much needed declutter and finding treasures to bring out and reintroduce. We are going to be different after this, for the better I think.

Love your HouseBound episodes because the conversations are very organic. Can you continue them (like once a month) even after we are past this Covid-19 situation?

What an interesting conversation. It’s one everyone seems to be talking about. It’s like we all are realizing what we’ve lost in the endless busyness, and realizing we don’t want that life any longer. Love hearing what everyone is doing during this time, and how we can join in. Thank you!

no. i want my busyness back. I'm so tired of this crisis being glorified. this should've never happened and I'm not embracing it at all. but that's just me. I do however hope everyone is well.

Thanks for sharing this truly real and authentic inside view of how you think through a room! It really makes me feel less overwhelmed knowing I can take my time to pull it together one day! Also thanks for appreciating us healthcare workers. I'm a nurse and I think you are doing a huge thing when you stay at home and it makes me smile knowing that you get it!

I love this series. We feel invited into your homes and part of a conversation with people we admire. Your discussions about design are inspirational because they are real - not a photo shoot. Thank you!

I really enjoyed this interview. I’m listening to all of them. I didn’t know this designer but it was such a lovely chat. Her thoughts on Lee Radziwill were so beautiful. Just really enjoyed.

Great conversation, interesting, inspiring and fun. Loved the Lee Radziwill story! You both are so right about making your home functional, useful to the very people that live there, not just pretty for company! I miss fresh flowers in my home. I think I will go paint some, self made art.

Love Colette's green velvet chair and that large color-field painting! How fun. Love these conversations and seeing the designers stash of samples they are considering for clients. Fun content. Good work! Waiting for my H&H issue in the US mail.

I turn 60 tomorrow but returned to school for Design and graduated at 57. I love that you mentioned design layering over time which was the only designing I've done. I so get, my rooms different expressions and its different iterations. Its a one bed; one bath compartmentalized for three adults. Leave your contact if you'd like a copy.

Loved ❤️ 😘 could you do a video talking about putting different styles in one place. For example I'm Brazilian living in the England in a 4 bedroom new built ( well, not so new for me, 80 ish ) so, the house does not have a character like a original Victorian house and it is not modern either 😒. Plus I like contemporary styles but also the glamour of the classic, my Brazilian side scream more farm indoor outdoor house with loads of plants, it remind me home ♥️. I want a place that is inviting but not pretentious. I don't know how to put all that together 😭 .
