These are actually my favorite types of tiny houses. I hope we get to see more tiny houses which are like apartments in the city because it is something A LOT easier & accessible for people who can't live away from cities for work & doesn't have land access for building & parking a tiny house.

The more I think about it, this space really blows me away, I am liking it more and more each time I apply my mind to it. I would never have thought that the bedroom would appeal to me... But the idea that it's so private and probably a very silent and comfy place to totally cut out the world at night. Making you rethink the point of a bedroom, just a place to sleep, the rest of your home is your living space. I think this video truly shows more than just living big in a tiny space, it shows what it means to also just live and be aware of your space and what it's meant to serve you for. I don't like how they lowered the ceilings in part of the downstairs to make room for that claustrophobic Loft sleeping area with no natural light. What's up with those stairs to try to maneuver in the middle of the night when you have to pee. I would have kept all the tall ceilings and Incorporated the bed under the living room area. Build a step up area to the living room with a pull-out sliding bed under. Then the bed disappears until needed. Anybody else felt suddenly cramped and tried to catch their breath when seeing the bedroom ? Gosh, that compact blind room is... something.

That bedroom would definitely take some getting used to. I think I'm so used to small spaces though that I really find them cosy. There's no question that loft bedrooms are not for everyone.

This is the kind of space I am aiming for. Nothing was sacrificed - they even have a washer and dryer!!! My only gripe is the staircase is not friendly when you go for a midnight wee. That’s all and I’m sure you just have to remember to be careful. The massive telly and the beautiful light fixture grabbed my heart. Truly an organised living space!

this is my favorite home of all the tiny homes we have seen on this channel. Most of them still feel kinda crammed with stuff, no matter how hard people try to make it feel open. But this one is different, it seem incredibly spacious without making compromises on the sizes of furniture. A full sized coach, table, tv, wardrobe space, bathroom. Even the bedroom seems big enough.

This apartment is stunning. SO much hidden space. I love the bedroom - it’s like a cosy den, hidden away from the world - love it. This is just brilliantly designed throughout. The living room space with the big windows is lovely. Stunning 🤘🤘🤘

@@clarkclarke did you not watch the video? That wall is being used for storage in the living area. Plus, it might have been planned to have a completely isolated sleeping area. I would love such a cozy little nook for sleeping, especially for us people who work night shifts its a dream.

For a couple with no children it seems perfect. One thing I like about tiny homes vs small spaces is the outdoors. Which they seem to be lacking. Thanks for sharing.

I actually went in this house a couple of months ago for an open house and now this popped up! It's a cute little apartment for sure, but the bedroom was too claustrophobic for me. Plus beds aren't just for sleeping in so the ceiling height seems like a problem. 😂. Oh and for those wondering about the light, I asked the agent and if I remember correctly it's from bocci.
@anniebanana36985 жыл бұрын
@Nick Lewis Wait, does that mean they're selling? Open house implies that it's on the market...
@Nick_Lewis5 жыл бұрын
Annie Banana yes they were selling when I went to the open house. I believe it sold. Not sure if you are familiar with Vancouver but it was on Hastings Street right by the Save on Meats in the downtown Eastside.

Maybe at the time when they put in on the market they're thinking to move, and also probably the video shooting was from before they put it in market. Because, if I remember correctly they said in the video that they've been living there for 11 years.
@sashachip5 жыл бұрын
interesting. So they were selling around the time of this video shoot? Maybe this was a form of advertising for them. They talked about being so happy there in the video but then sold? I wonder what happened there. Do you recall the asking price? Knowing Vancouver real estate market I bet this apartment was probably pushing close to seven figures.

YES me too. I prefer apartment-dwelling personally even though I am a fan of tiny homes. I love being elevated above ground and also having neighbours on all sides among other things. Here in Southern Ontario it's also very hard to find a place to park a tiny house - it's just more practical to live in an apartment here

The design element of this tiny apartment is off the charts, never thought that big furnitures were possible in a small space before. Definitely one of my favourite houses from this channel and everything about this couple just seem to exude perfection.
