Interior LED lighting RGB Gauge Cluster upgrade - Phone app

My 1968 Mustang Coupe 289 restomod. In this video I install addressable LED RGB bulbs in my 1968 instrument cluster. Change to any color on the spectrum with the included app via Bluetooth. Restore your gauge cluster to illuminate in day or night! This upgrade will work with all classic mustang cougar fairlane gauge clusters.

That's my original that I refurbished, it was a little dirty from the polishing I did but still cleans up great! I should have filmed this video in 4k 60fps, it look so good in person, especially since I put in new lenses. The gauges look clean and glow perfectly.

how did you power the cluster when you had it out of the car? im having a problem that the cluster does not light up but gauges work.

I am using an independent led power adapter to light the fiber optics lighting the cluster, the power adapter is getting its' power from the gauge cluster light sockets. In your case, there's a blue and red wire in one of the connectors that the gauge connects to. you can take a volt meter and check if you're getting power on the socket before it gets to the gauges. the blue and red wire comes from the headlight switch. check if you're getting power from the switch as well.

My money is your headlight switch is bad... Not expensive or difficult to replace.

It would be difficult to sell a complete gauge pod because it's a custom installation on the gauges and a little bit of modification to the wiring to power the LEDs. That way you don't have to run a separate circuit. I would be happy to install it on your own set of gauges, email me. the address is in the about section of my channel.

Hey negan just wanted to ask my 68 stang runs great strong engine doesn’t over heat no leaks but you know where you put the coolant that thing when ever I touch it in a few minutes after I turn the car on it heats really within like 15 minutes of the car being on is that normal or you think something is wrong with my cooling system

Yes sir, I'm guessing you're referring to the radiator. Your mustang is usually running about 200 degrees depending on your engine thermostat.
