Dude I literally check youtube daily to see if you uploaded a video. We are almost literally the same person. Really enjoy the videos bro. Best day off is when I put the kids to bed and sit on the couch, turn on the iPad and see you put a vid up! Lol. Thanks again
@phunkdoctaspock7 жыл бұрын
Wow. Incorrect usage of the word "literally" twice in consecutive sentences. And you say you have kids? Unbelievable. Usually it's dumb millennial types spewing this crap, but you're an adult? Pick up a dictionary and learn how to use the word properly. It's embarrassing. Just an FYI, you would likely only correctly use the word "literally" maybe 10 or less times in an entire year. Not twice in consecutive sentences like you're Kim fucking Kardashian. Pick up a dictionary.

phunkdoctaspock the millennial argument is really starting to get old (aphorism). You do realize that you were once young decades ago and guess what all of the "old folk" were saying about you back in the day? The same god damn thing. But hey, I'm sure you're right...baby boomers are the best generation in human history 👍🏼.

Around the 10:47 mark was the first time the car put a smile on your face. Doesn't seem to be doing much for you from what I can tell. If I recall correctly most of your first drive videos made you giggle or smile. Reminds me a little of the f80 m3 exhaust videos from the old house. You like it but don't love it.

@ObsessedGarage7 жыл бұрын
It's built into the price of the supercharger. You can look up the Kraftwerks price on their site, and LHT is pretty close to that installed.

Really enjoy your videos Matt! Love the S2000...looks like such a fun drive. My daily is a 2015 Mustang GT with a supercharger kit installed, pushing 620whp. Honestly, its too much power for me to enjoy on the road, just gets to license losing speed too quickly. Something like the boosted CR allows to you wring its neck and really enjoy pushing the car. Makes me want one, lol.

Is there not a roots blower or similar style for Hondas? I'm sure the power is great, but the noise that the supercharger makes doesn't hit me like the noise of a roots blower. I don't know. I really like the whine of a Challenger Hellcat or supercharged Chevy. This sounds a little more like a computer fan.

Joshua Hirtle there is but it'd pretty rare. A company in the UK made a couple of kits and that's about it. S2000 don't really have root style kits because of the space.

Personally I wouldn't touch a thing on the exhaust though, it sounds so sexy as is, adding a resonator is just a good alternative.

@ObsessedGarage7 жыл бұрын
S2000, not so good. GT350 is surprising not bad.
@jtaheri2237 жыл бұрын
Have you thought about having a reputable shop custom weld another resonator to the exhaust? That should catch more of those drone frequencies your getting traveling through the cab and into your ears lol, without sacrificing most of that amazing f22 sound. If the exhaust is titanium, resourcing the welder and the part may be more difficult.

The drone you are getting in the interior isn't from the toda exhaust its the test pipe.... you will lose a couple of hp in the top end but running a free flow cat will make the drive much more enjoyable... you won't really hear the drone from outside.. but from 2.5k to 3.2k is where that drone tends to be noticeable in the interior.. resonant harmonics works that way...

I love your videos man and I'v been here on your channel for a while. Been following the S2000 videos and loving them. So here is my Rant. I dont know if I could ever understand why one would need another sports car after the GT3. I have a Base Carrera and I honestly feel it is perfection. Im sure you will agree a GT3 is literally "everything" a sports car ought to be. That has me genuinely wondering if every sane man, myself included can eventually have a surfeit of everything at some point.. Maybe I trade up to own a GT3 ( I dont have that kinda coin right now) and then eventually run into the problem of wanting more cars. It seems you have reached there. I assume one needs to get there first before the wise words of Biggie "Mo money Mo problemz" make all the more sense :)
@ObsessedGarage7 жыл бұрын
That's an interesting observation. I just drove my GT3 3 hours and was thinking to myself. Why don't I just drive this thing everywhere? But then I remind myself that it would lose some of it appeal driving it every day. It would probably be much less costly to just drive the GT3, sell it, and get another one every few years.

Maybe change to a 63.5mm Tanabe Medalion Touring or Fujitsubo LegaliseR with a 63.5mm Berk HFC. This may be the best way to reduce drone IMO. ps Supercharger sounds and performs brilliantly.!

I LOVE ur videos and you actually explaining things rather then here it is.... But most of all ur s2000 vids are my fav overall!! And i know everyone says the Toda sounds amazing, but if it was me, i would look into a custom one with helmz better res./mufflers and i know LHT has built atleast 1 before, so as him. Also you could do Ti, SS, or a mix.... Personally I LOOOVE M&M exhausts Full Dual Ti.... To badd there like 5k ROFL..... Yaaaa But ya just some ideas even tho this old....
