We are doing a One Wall Kitchen 8'9" long. We are using Wilsonart laminate 5 ' by 12" for the back splash and countertop to be seamless. Our entire back wall/splash with be from floor to over the electrical outlets.

The Yale appliance channel says that dark stainless scratches really easily, which can’t be fixed, and that voids your warranty. They really steer people away from that.

Honestly, not everyone has big budgets. It's shocking to me that you don't understand that options are meant to be inclusive.. if you can afford stone amazing....if you can't there are still alternatives.

@@InteriorDesignHub I understand it but in my opinion both products aren’t durable enough for countertops and so on. It means that even cheaper it’s a waste of money.

@smaia5252 and yet they are used all the time. I'm not sure what you are basing that on. But they are actually pretty durable. If you don't like it then don't use it. But don't make people feel bad for having to go affordable.
