Interlude IV (Showtime) | COMPLETE Hawkfrost and Mothwing MAP

YES IT’S FINALLY HERE!! I’m so excited to share this map with you all, I’m incredibly proud of the outcome and it was such an honor to host!! Every single part looks just sTUNNING and I could not be more proud of how the final map came out!!! thank you so so much to everyone who put in work to help get this done!!
All of the artists put so much effort into their parts and they’re all so talented, they really made this map come to life so please give them lots of love and support (links to their channels down below)!!

This map takes place right after Hawkfrost’s death, where his spirit confronts Mothwing before he goes to the Dark Forest. Mothwing is ready to move on, but Hawkfrost still feels he has unfinished business around the lake, and with her.
Believing that his sister owes him for the moth wing sign, Hawkfrost urges Mothwing to avenge his death (his body being the dead “kid" in the song) by killing Brambleclaw (or “Juanita"). When Mothwing refuses, Hawkfrost directs all of his anger at her and decides to take matters into his own paws and get revenge himself- despite Mothwing pleading to for him to let it go. But Hawkfrost is too consumed by rage and hate, vowing to hurt those who wronged him, and the two siblings part ways for a final time.

GOD the emotion and tension is so good. The participants delivered such a consistent and TERRIFYING atmosphere. Body language was gorgeous, expressions were perfect, and the audio was so incredibly fitting I thought it was scripted!! Everyone did so well 💕

I have a headcannon that df cats only enter the forest when their dead bodies r witnessed. So if an evil cat dies and no one sees them untill theyre a skeleton they enter the df as a skeleton!

I think it could be Tadpole? Their dead brother. Tadpole and Hawk were really close but when Tadpole died hawk got very... sad and alone Edit: Tadpole was the oldest kit in the litter he died while saving hawk and moth from drowning after they got trapped in a basement and an pipe burst.
