It just went away. I tried changing the MAFS to two other used ones, but the car hated both of those - I think they were both outright bad. I had tried to clean the one in the video, and then found out later that AFM cleaner is not to be used on MAFS, so I guess it left a residue on it that eventually wore off? That was the best I could figure anyway.
