Now the story shifts to Annie's troop. It seems it's time for another new king. But at least this one seem to fare much better than many other ones we have seen. But will he still be ousted one day ?

Seeing monkeys play & swim in their natural habitat is amazing. Seeung a minkey swim small circles in a bowl or a childs swimmingpool is 💔 I will never understand why people support trying to turn this amazing wild animal into a human being. I love watching the monkeys in water. I know they swim in the reservoir. Do humans go swimming there too? In some of your videos, it looks quite refreshing. The monkeys seem to enjoy all the different areas that have water. I know studies have shown that chimps have an almost reverance for running water. Some researchers have likened it to an almost religious fascination to it. I wonder if these ones do too.

What happened to Lubby...was her body found by park employees? I always wonder what happens to them when adult monkeys come up missing. Lubby was the prettiest one on monkey hill. I thought her eyes were so lovely. I will miss seeing her on here 😢

I've always thought Lubby was the most beautiful macaque on the Hill too, especially at her peak (IMO) a few years ago. Such a pretty girl. It's too bad these wonderful creatures don't know how much adore and miss them. I hope Lubby's passing was pain free. She is missed.
