Well. It is a simple and fairly cheap solution, that I bought from a seller on eBay. It is a PCB that provides the correct signals for the PC drive and Amiga at the same time. You can find the seller on eBay. www.ebay.ie/itm/272354375049 However the item have been out of stock for a long time. And my best advice is to use Gotek drives.

Would be interesting not add "Graffiti" chunky pixel support
@brostenen4 жыл бұрын
It is not a videocard or anything like that. It is just an alternative upscaler. :-) It is perfectly useable, if you go the route of playing Amiga500 games from floppy or gotek, on a classic setup. That means 512/1024k chipmem and 512k trapdoor mem.

@@brostenen I understand that . Graffiti was a special case - it worked similar way (i think). It was able to read bitplane data and convert directly into chunky pixel data. As far as the amiga was concerned it was working with regular bitplanes and the transform happend on the way out of the amiga via the monitor port. Maybe im not explaining very well : wiki.icomp.de/wiki/Graffiti

@@NickFellows Ahhh.... You need to contact the maker of this adaptor, and the RGBtoHDMI project with these questions. 🙂 I am not a maker or engineer in any way. So I can not implement anything. However you can set different filters and so forth on the video signal. I have mine set to slightly smooth. The software is open source, and is beta software, however extremely well written beta stage. Basically fully working and if any issues or incompatibility, then those are extremely minor. 😋😋😋

@@drphilxr I actually do not remember that piece of hardware. 20 years ago, I studied, and had no time for Amiga or computers in general. 🙂 To me they were just a tool that had to work, back then.

@@drphilxr Yep i think its sniffed the output in a similar way

Does this mod needed 15Khz capable monitor/tv ?
@brostenen4 жыл бұрын
This mod does not need 15khz. It is HDMI. 😉

you want to put Denise on adapter prior socketing it then you do socket it and then install pi on top
@brostenen3 жыл бұрын
Eighter way, the result is the same. 😉 Installing the PI before inserting the adaptor on the motherboard. Removes the risk of inserting the PI wrong. If you insert the PI wrong, you can accidentially intruduce voltage into a wrong pin. Not much room inside the Amiga case.

Please where can we have/buy a complete RGB to HDMI adaptor for our A500+?
@brostenen3 жыл бұрын
There are sellers on eBay, or you can contact Reinhard on his github page, that I have listed in the description. 🙂

github.com/c0pperdragon/Amiga-Digital-Video For the 500+ make sure it is Rev2 version of the adaptor, the earlier version does not support ECS which the 500+ has

Virker Amigens oprindelige video udgang stadig, men adapteren sidder i?
@brostenen3 жыл бұрын
Hej peter.

@@peteraaslevolsen4294 Cool. Du bliver glad for adaptoren.
