I just ordered my MTM trigger and Mosmatic wand. Glad I watched this to know how to maintain the system and what to expect.
@ThomasPowersYouTube7 жыл бұрын
Given the gun's simple internals, it would be SUPER COOL if you could convince Mosmatic to produce "upgrade parts" (like the one-piece plug & swivel) for those of us who already bought the $110 gun. I'd love to upgrade my swivel/plug without having to spend another $110+ dollars on a completely new gun. Having product support at that level straight from the OG store would be amazing.

It’s funny watching this again a few years later. When this video came out no one really had these aftermarket stubby guns, quick release lances and snow foam cannons in the UK. In the last 18 months or so, they are suddenly everywhere. Mainly cheap Chinese guns but recently it seems more MTM and Mosmatics are appearing in retailers. I got a cheap Chinese gun a year ago and it was OK. I bought a SGS35 last week, PF22 and all stainless lance which looks identical to the newer OG one. The difference is night and day and I think the UK scene is realising that too. It all started with OG. Shame it works out so expensive with shipping and taxes to get from OG in the UK.

I personally prefer the SGS28 over the Mosmatic when I compared them side by side. The SGS28 trigger is very light and smooth to pull. The mosmatic trigger “switch” is annoying. The SGS28 also feels substantially lighter which is important since it results in way less fatigue when going around a car with a hose and foam cannon.
@ObsessedGarage5 жыл бұрын
The SGS28 is my design. I worked with MTM USA/Veloci to develop it. The short coming of it versus the Mosmatic is that it has a plastic internal trigger mechanism. The Mosmatic is metal ball bearing driven. The Mosmatic also has likely the best swivel in the world versus the MTM.

Starting to look into getting a pressure washer and one of these guns. But now torn on which one to get. Great info on how to maintain these guns. I really like the idea of how the Mosmatic trigger is built but also like how the MTM is stainless throughout. Thanks Matt!

The obsession with stainless steel is just a waste of money. I have an all-brass gun that is over 10 years old and it functions perfectly. I've only cleaned it out with a bit of vinegar and detergent i think twice. It's made in italy by AR. I think i spent $30 on it. The all-SS OG-spec Mosmatic will probably be $200, just a guess. I love how these can be easily taken apart and maintained. As opposed to developing a leak internally and having to toss the whole thing, just open it up and hopefully address the issue directly at the source.

Curious if anyone can say how much "easier" it is to hold down that trigger on the Mosmatic? Looks like as pointed out that once you pull it back, it is easier to hold in the on position? I ask because I have severe RSI which makes holding a normal cheap gun in the on position extremely painful.
@JohnVanderbeck3 жыл бұрын
I ordered the OF Mosmatic this weekend so I will answer this question myself. YES! It is so much easier to trigger and hold this gun than the stock gun I had. A million, zillion times easier.
