International 1468 startup

I was a ih service rep back in 79 and never got to see one of these tractors and would just love to have one -- have a 1466 for probably 30 years now but a V8 would be special for shure . I understood that the original v8's would run on four cylinders when at light load then all eight would cut in when hp is needed but there was problems with the injection pump and they just ran on eight after the field change .

Very nice garage, IH 1468 and Ford 8600, both dream tractors! You Just need to add a John Deere 5020 and then it would be the tractor garage of heaven!

Agreed, awesome tractor for sure. But this is a gasoline V8, so it's not "roll'n coal" in the traditional sense. That's reserved for diesel engines.

@@vote4carp I may have to go back to watch the video but I'm pretty sure that's a diesel engine there. The IH 1468 came with a diesel engine & if I remember right, it was a engine from the truck series.

Damn great rebuilt International V8 Tractor-I can see a Ford 8000 or so in the Garage...And an MAN Truck outside...Where is that?!? Finnland...Norway cause of the colour that the garage has.
