Looks like you have a fine addition to the fleet. Always a few things to do or change when you get a different piece of equipment. Judging from the size, I would assume it must be in the 35 to 40 HP range. Looking forward to seeing it hooked up to a piece of equipment and headed down the field working it. Have a great week. Will attempt to catch you folks tomorrow evening. Blessings to all.

Fixing to be time to add onto the shed. Your getting to be like me getting more tractors.lol Love the old ones better than the new ones.

Got to get me some tires and rims for it first.

The new oring is probably the right size you have a left over piece of rubber in the seal land. I had the same issue grand dad never changed our 130 and dad followed suit. Said it was too much trouble to get all the rubber out of the seal land. Love the videos and like to see Sammy running that A again! 😄🧢

I cut a lot of that segment out. It was just to big. All of the old was out.

You are truly blessed in your helpers. That tractor is such a classic - perhaps it reminds me of the little toy red Marx plastic tractor that came with my Marx farm set from about 1950. I have been having fun with my 1952 Cub setting it up for cultivating. A new "vintage" tractor does indeed have many mysteries.

It warms my heart to see the 300 getting the attention it deserves. That left rear is almost new, the right not so much. Getting it set up to the way you want to use it is certainly worth the time/expense spent. I’m looking forward to you connecting the headlights as well as the chrome emblems for the left side. I certainly hope it pulls well for you. Any thoughts as to the “stiff” clutch? Off to pick up a 2N for pcs/parts in a few. 😱. Maybe “hook up” the older boys with a “competitive” tractor??

I had a 300 utility my self a year or so back but mine had a different design fast hitch. I ended up keeping the fast hitch off of it and sold Tractor. I’m gonna put the fast hitch on my farmall n

Good morning. Yeah your probably getting up about now. What in the cat hair is a cat tail that fits in a 3&1/2 inch wrapper?😂 Anyway this is not intended to be negative, but my former, late, DIL had a 300. Was a family tractor but something broke in the transmission I think and they couldn't find a replacement part. Don't think they tried very hard. Well good luck with your new toy and have a good day. Jt, I'm not familiar with the IH hitches. Those adapter arms seem like a slick idea, but why are they made so long? Seems like they could be about 10" shorter and be a little more convenient. I enjoy your videos. Blessings to you all from MN.

I don’t know. Even the one IH made was long.

Yea usually tractors have multiple drains , one for each sump and then just a fill hole like you said it equalizes.

Did you stop trying to loose weight? Weren't you doing something like only eating 8 hours a day or something or not eating after 8pm or something?
