Good video. I just change the fuel filter in our 2022 CV515 and there's a few things different. The bleeder screw is on the bottom of the housing and you need a T30 torx head to open it. A little bit of fuel comes out, maybe 1/8 cup. Then to remove the housing that contains the filter, I needed a 1-7/16" socket. In metric that's about 36mm. My socket was 12 pt and a little bit loose, so maybe a 35mm socket would be better. Certianly 6pt is preferred. Once the housing was cracked open a couple of turns, a lot more fuel comes out of the bleeder screw. When it slowed to a very little trickle, I closed it and then removed the housing that contained the filter. A lot more fuel was sitting in there. A cup full would be my guess. The replacement filter I picked up from the International dealer, it contained the large o-ring and a small o-ring. The large one was for the housing. The small one is for the post that extends down into the filter. I also took off the bleeder screw to check for presence of an o-ring and there is a one there, but its more like a flat washer than an o-ring. That did not come with the filter so I left the original in place. With it all tightened up, I followed the remainder of your tips. Two cycles of the key for 30 secs each. I could hear the fuel filling up... and I'm 3/4 deaf. 🙂 Started the truck and it ran just fine. I then navigated to the fuel filter life monitor in the DIC using the buttons on the steering wheel (different that yours). I held down the the centre button (check mark) until the dash beeped. The Oil filter reading doesn't change, but when I shut off the truck and started it again, the fuel filter reads at 100%. 👍👍

Do you still have a part number for that fuel filter? I've been back and forth to napa a good 5 different times because all the filters are too big for the housing. Any help is appreciated

Can you use a TP1015 instead of the TP1021 you used? Or what would be the difference between both.

Silly question coming from a prospective Chevy 5500 buyer and current Ram 4500 owner, does your platform have 2 fuel filters or just this one? I ask as the Cummins a filter under hood, and a water separator under the frame. Thanks, and great video skills btw.

That socket, does it specifically have to be a fuel filter socket or just a 29mm, having a hard time finding that odd ball size.

Any 29mm will work. Use a 6pt one though. Lisle 14600 Fuel Filter Socket, 29mm, Polished Aluminum www.amazon.com/dp/B000HI6KTA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_31NZRRBBMC8SZ3A9SEKG

where did you find the filter? When I go to parts stores they keep trying to give me a different filter. I have a 2019 Chevy MD 5500 and it's the same setup as yours but the filter they keep trying to give me at all the auto parts store is a smaller one.
How are you liking you cv ? I am not an engineer but, I was heavily involved in the development of that truck. I havent had the opportunity to talk with anyone outside the company concerning their views on the truck.

I’m very disappointed with the turning radius. Mine is 4x4 so I can’t comment on the 2wd version but this alone is enough for me to not buy another. Aside from that, 75 mph speed governor has been a PITA. The International dealer in Denver still doesn’t have the proper cable nor the software to adjust it but informed me it was not possible (was told it could be adjusted before purchasing). Burns way way too much DEF. And the 22,500 GVW is too low.

I also agree with the turning and 75 mph. The only other complaints is how low the tie rod and transfer case hang. Other than that I love the truck. (2019 chevy 5500)
