Brings back lots of memories. I ran a 1460 for several years. Clear up till I retired. Best combine I ever had.

Awesome video of the International 1460. He definitely takes good care of it! I'd be happy to have it during harvest season! It definitely show's he's dedicated to using International for everything he does! Thanks for sharing another great video with us along with your PRICELESS time and effort! Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.

What an awesome find Josh! Wow! His combine-cleaning process sounds familiar 😆....He deserves a lot of credit for essentially preserving a piece of history like that 1460. Curious of the hours on it and if it's OG paint? Red paint doesn't keep easy! Love the old Paystars too. Just amazes me all of us obscure farmers across the State and Country. This video is in my top 5 favs from you.

Modern agricultural machines are amazing. Thank you for making videos so everyone can see the wonderfulness of modern agriculture
@greg10469Ай бұрын
Real nice older combine set up...these older machines only take the cob through them which reduces hp needed and gives pretty clean grain samples without too much trouble meanwhile still traveling at a similiar speed as modern combines without all the wear and tear of the whole stalk traveling through the machine. Some farmers miss these combines as they were easier to repair and they would later send a tractor with a bush hog to finish off the stalks.

Our farm bought a 1460 new in 1979 we put a mud hog on it for the rice fields. We raised rice corn and Milo best machine I ever ran. The 915 I bought in 74 was next

That would have been so neat to see a 1460 in rice!

Absolutely beautiful old 1460 still doing it's job 40 yrs later. It's paid for itself many times over,doubtful that many of these new combines will ever do the same!

Nothing wrong with the magnum tractors. They way better than what international had.
@M8Stealth24 күн бұрын
Magnum is a IH... They had the design mostly done but didn't get it to production before the Tenneco buy out. Early Magnums still have IH on the castings.

How bout those 2 bad and beautiful Paystar's. The first real truck I drove was a '72 Paystar with the triple low 13 spd and a 250 855 Cummins. That first Gamecock truck sounded like the same 250 the second definitely a Screamin Demon Detroit. Excellent HEAVY duty overbuilt truck. Solid aluminum thick fenders, fold up hood sides & a tow eye that puts any modern truck to shame. I could crank that truck with one half dead battery. One hand on compression release, foot holding open throttle and other hand with a 40d nail to jump the starter and that ole girl would run all day with the screw in on the PT pump.
