My Dad had one of these , with a blade . We cut and piled brush ( lots of acres) and would break with a WD9 on steel single bottom international plow. The bigger stumps we would go around then use the td9 to dig them out or put a brush pile on them and burn them off. I tell you really had to want to farm to do that.

Use the brake on same side as steering clutch to steer it

50 years ago i operated aTD9 and a TD6 dozers i think the TD9 was a TD9B, HADTO REPLACE THE RUBBER GASKET ON THETHETD6 RADIATOR THAT TOP TANK IS CAST IRON AND HEAVY, I DID ON MY OWN IN THE BUSH I WILL NOT FORGET I THINK I WAS 16 OR 17 BEUTIFULL MACHINES

There is a lever on the inside of intake manifold that some time sticks ma need some lube

Play with adjustment when on gas mode

clean the carb, and set the idle on gas a little higher. never run it on gas for more than 5 min.
