How'd you get this job? Did you already have IB experience? Is it necessary to have it or would AP teaching be enough?

Hello there! I think it really depends on the school itself because some schools would prefer you to have prior IB experience and some schools don't. I don't think it is necessary to have IB experience in a specific subject that you want to teach in but overall knowledge and educational background. For me, I personally had prior IB experience (both as a teacher & full diploma student) and a degree in a subject that I teach in. I think it is great to take courses to learn more prior to a new role.

It depends on which schools you are applying to! Most schools require you to have an education degree in your field. There are also various settings for international school teachers to work in Taiwan.
