Had a '79 Scout II when it was new, but after a couple of years it started rusting badly. I didn't have the tools or skill that you do, but I tried my best to stop the rust -- to no avail. You're doing a great job! These Scouts are worth restoring.

This is the exact stage I’m at replacing inner/outer rockers, wedges, wedge floor supports on my 1978 Scout 2. You have done the best video I have come across for a newbie like me! Thanks a ton!

Thanks!!! Can’t wait to get it done and tow it out to UT!! If we didn’t have a 4 month old I’d get a different engine/trans in old blue and tow it out with that lol

Are these parts your welding in custom made or can they be bought somewhere? My scout has rust in the same places pretty much

What size and gauge is that tube? I have a pretty beat up Terra I'd like to do this to.

It’s like 1/8th inch. It’s heavy, you could go thinner no problem

Не знаю как красила эта фирма кузова, но очень похоже что грунта там нет вообще. Все полости кузова ржавые. Это американский уаз.
