Space has no gravity - but i think what you mean is gravity on the iss is more or less what it is on earth - i think it is like 5 - 10% less, yes - because it is still very close to earth - and their weightlessness is due to the iss being in constant free fall round the earth.

wouldn't using a centrifuge on the ISS cause some unwanted angular momentum?
@Alex-Lay9 жыл бұрын
+Andrew Mann Anything that spins would cause some amount of momentum, but as those centrifuges, or fans on laptops, are so small as a portion of the stations mass, it can't affect the total momentum of the station much. That's also why they have stabilization systems (including the control moment gyros Don Pettit mentioned at the end), to be able to cancel out any unwanted angular momentum that builds up over time.
@bababoombaboom24656 жыл бұрын
no - why would it? It starts from a rest state and finishes in a rest state. What is the sum of forces? Angular momentum is generated, and then it is canceled when the acceleration is applied in the opposite direction to stop it again.

Go home flat earth troll! You were probably watching an under water simulation. Water simulates anti gravity so they do a lot of simulations there to prepare for space!

@rogerwilson65256 жыл бұрын
Space bubbles are the result of tiny molecules of air escaping from the pressurized suits of the astronauts during E.V.A s . and is a direct result of a pressurized environment enveloped in a vacuum.

antred11 it dont mean your a flat earther if you believe NASA is bullshit.. I know the earth is round but I also know NASA is 95% bullshit, you wanna know yourself? Look up "NASA harness fail" it should be second vid down between 2 and 4 minutes long it's a live stream to Boisestate university.. if you wanna know they are bullshitting us it's not that hard to find if you look, many flat earthers use their bullshit to justify that the earth must be flat.. but that would be impossible with the light hours of barrow Alaska among many many other things.

Because the red hot chili peppers are scientific reference. lol You can *see* the ISS pass overhead with a telescope or good binoculars. Or is it some magical hologram?

It doesn't matter what the shape the earth is, but a little child can spot the lies from astronauts faces, CGI is bad, the photos from planets has too much "noise" so you can obviously see that the photos are manipulated every single time..
