@@aperson4933 dawg even the military calls them Helos. It’s both heli and helo but helo has a sharper change between the “L” consonant and the “o” vowel for ease of communication and clarity. Not to mention with poor radio signal reception due to things like weather or distance, “heli” could sound like “help” which could cause many more problems.

It's partly the strap and partly because of the physics of helicopter flight. Even when the helicopter banks hard the inertia keeps the soldiers pinned to the bench. It's kinda like how if a plane does a roll, pilots are trained to keep a positive G, even when completely inverted.

my great uncle was a seal during the vietnam war. i was born years after & he never talked about it & we never thought much about it until we saw the osama bin laden capture & kill by seal team 6. now i cant get enough of them. unfortunately my great uncle passed away years before so i cant ask him any questions. i have great respect for all our soldiers.

What I do not understand is how still in 2019 the soldiers have not protected their legs with ballistic bulletproof ceramics, the soldiers are shot at the legs, that's a big mistake. and they do not wear the anti-ballistic helmets with ballistic ceramics on the front and back.

Zack As someone who has had the “pleasure” of riding Little Birds and also skydives, I’d much rather jump out of planes than fly with those crazy SOAR dudes. Not to take away from their skills, but I’m not a fan of the “roller coaster feeling,” which you don’t get from skydiving. Still, as they say, “Night Stalkers don’t quit,” and “Death waits in the dark”!
