I grew up as a young child listening to these artists.. I even sent JLP an email when I was 8 or so asking for advice as a young musician. He emailed back a long letter of encouragement. I have been listening to my old master over and over for the last month. Thank you yet again, John. This is the last thing I hear every night before I fall into gentle slumbers... I saw you at the Capital Theater in Passaic, NJ, in 1970 - Back stage at Carnegie Hall with my friend Al di Meola For " in San Francisco" and many, many, many more happy shows such as Shukti.

Ahhh, memories. Deje' El Salvador en el '80 y en el '81... En Pasadena en el Sur de California en mi primer concierto en L.A....There he was Jean Luc Ponty in a tiny venue where I had the blessing to witness him playing..... Progressive Jazz and Rock remain my favorites till today in 2022... Thanks, thanks, thanks,.....

The first concert I ever attended in the early 70s was Elton John he had an outstanding violinist with the name Jean -Luc Ponty.I became an instant fan of both.
