@futur3ndings6513 жыл бұрын
There are a lot of issues with it still. The cost is outstanding when most young to middle aged people can't make enough to live on their own. Another issue is a lot of people adopt out of country if they do have the money. Different belief systems also come into play, plus the sexual aspect as far as women's rights are considered. Realistically under specific circumstances abortion would be an option, but society will never agree and will always have someone with views on different parts of the spectrum. As someone who's parents were forced into marrying after refusing to give me up for adoption out of fear of losing their first child, I can safely say that there are other issues that come with giving up a child just as much as making the decision to aborting them.

@@kvjackal7980 I wouldn't say ignorance per-se. More so tunnel vision or lack of common sense in realizing something so personal isn't that simple to fix. (Not that there needs to be a fix for abortion imo) But I am biased; in that I feel women should have a right to choose as it is their body that nurtures a new life. When that life becomes essential in the pregnancy is less clear. I'd also like to point out that our government wants to do away with abortions in certain areas and yet when those same children get adopted, nobody cares anymore. Nobody checks to ensure the adoptive parents are actually nurturing those children, which I can only imagine is another fear the actual parents would have with giving their kids up. In which also leads to more difficulties in making said decision.

The other that we're worried about replacing has nothing to do with ones color (although it's popular to convince people otherwise). What the vast majority of the people are worried about is assimilation to our Country or flooding the Country with people from Marxist/socialist countries and transforming the Nation.

Thank you!! Very well said! And I'll add, why is our nation the only one judged in this? I saw the EU with it's migration in 2015, but otherwise, what nations are castigated? None but the US. And NO nation let's in as many as we do via legal immigration (a million a year), PLUS visas, etc, etc. I wonder, if when things truly get bad, and I suspect in these 3 and a half years they will....what nation is going to open their doors to us while they've castigated us while we've historically taken in more than any other nation-And that's facts, easily found if one seeks it.

There's a difference between constructive criticism and emotional hatred. Maybe Americans should be vocal in their criticism, but there is no reason for any American to hate America. It's not very logical because it mis-characterizes a country, which is non-sentient entity....an idea...or a geographical area....with a sentient being capable of free will and therefore responsible for choices that can cause judgement. Hating a country is like hating the hardwood at your own basketball team's home court anytime the hated rivals are in the building. Don't hate the Bulls home court just because the Pistons are in town and Lambeir is doing some asshole shit. America is no more responsible for the actions of idiots within it's borders than Chicago Stadium is to blame for the antics of the Detroit Bad Boys. Evil actions are done by evil people, stupid thoughts are dreamed up by stupid people, smart solutions are designed by smart people and uplifting love arises from elevated people. And the bad actors we have aren't bad because of the country they live in nor does the country itself encourage hate. I don't think we even have more hatred or racism than most modern, large countries with out level of diversity. The only reason it seems worse here, at times, is that we have more freedom...which brings with it more chaos and conflict. That and the media, often financed by foreign interests seeking to divide and weaken, focuses on the worst in humanity and makes things up when the worst isn't bad enough.

MrLBoyd thank you for actually reacting and breaking down his video. I am #HangOverGang for life, so when Tom drops a song I spend 2-3 days watching the reactions and giving the comments, etc. doing my part to boost Tom. it's nice to see people actually reacting a lot of reaction channels miss most of the content or just bob their head to the song.

The waiting list for parents wanting to adopt is crazy long and only encourages pay to play child trafficking structures.
@jimjam40823 жыл бұрын
That's only true for the ones that want small babies that check certain boxes for them. After a certain age the amount of willing adoptive parents are significantly less than the amount of kids needing homes. The older the kids get the lower this number goes. There is so many kids 5+ yrs old that cant find a home because most people want to adopt babies. I was raised in foster care, my parents rights were taken away and ended up bouncing around from home to home because of this. So it may be true that there's long waiting lists for newborns and small toddlers, the rest of the kids in need go without a lot of the times because they just aren't wanted. I know the point is about finding adoptive parents for the babies instead of aborting but I really think that would ultimately make it even more difficult for the older kids to find loving homes.

@14:47: My favorite bar: "We're all afraid to speak the truth, and the more afraid we get, the more we hate the ones who do." This is one of my favorite bars of the year and one of Tom's best imo. It represents a mainstay in his style of writing. It's simple and direct, yet deep, poignant and profound and the way he delivers it with a punch and that bouncy cadence, it's for sure the one that stuck out the most for me. Peace. #HOG

Coke ain't the only mega marketing genius entity - the line about BLM only mattering once every 4 years spelled it out: govt uses the exact same marketing model as Coke does, and it works just as well. In fact it works even better, because with Coke, people are aware that it is a product and they're being marketed TO...people are not aware that govt is a product that is being marketed to them as well. Not sure if Tom even drew that parallel intentionally, given the distance between those two bars, but it's an outstanding comparison to draw nonetheless.

Love your perspective and personality. just realized how much you post! Keep up the grind bro you deserve more recognition if nothing else nothing just for your knowledge you'll blow up even bigger I'm sure of it. 😉 (edit) if your an American and your satisfied with your country I don't know if I want you there" I agree 100% with this mentality as an army vet. The most patriotic understand why our founding documents were written the way they were, and they remember the mistakes and exploits and the reasons for each. We need to transcend all current forms of government to progress as a species I believe.
