And honestly that kind of title is more beautiful and iconic than most realize. Eminem used to say we all have a little bit of shady inside of us and it's more of a internal mindset than a singular person. Much like V for Vendetta when V says he wears the mask because an icon is an idea and idea's don't die. So with Tom's revival of shady styled music shady lives on as an icon taking on new forms throughout the generations of music. Which should be a huge flex for Eminem to know he won't be forgotten for one reason or another.

The self affirmations in this hit me in a similar place to where Best Rapper Ever did. He recognizes his self doubt, outside influences, all the negatives, and then he reminds himself that he's got this shit. He always drops these types of tracks when I need to hear them the most, and I love that about him and Nova. He really poured it out on this one.

First time watcher. Did the full video and liked the commentary you did. You won't likely see this comment because "old video" and all that, and this has likely been said already by multiple people, but I think this song is deep and was one of the catalysts for "Withdrawals" personally because he's absolutely blasting his insecurities here and bolstering the ego he has no choice but to have due to his position. This song is the personification of "Heavy lies the crown". He "can't look down" for the terrifying fear of failure for the people who love him AND hate him. The massive amount of pressure trying to do what "they" want but still care what you want too, stay true to yourself but please the audience, give everything you can and take the criticism you know you will get and brush it off so you don't rest on your laurels. You have to act like none of that ever affected you and try to rise above it all to ever have any chance to be normal for your own mental health and growth. You're a youtuber, so I know that sentiment and commiseration hits the same as an ex artist myself. At least you earned another subscriber my dude. LOL

I LOVE the drums in this, when it comes in, then the cadence picking up, then the Purge siren....and the bars I can't even count how many are just ...speechless. I'm probably round your age so was in my late 20s and early 30s when Em hit the scene and for me, maybe it is in perspective and living the era....Em from then-99-2001 doesn't even register to Tom, outside of Kim. It seems this is therapy put to rap and sharing his lived and living experiences. I have so much respect for that, and the help it provides those battling various demons.
